... i think it's either just over, or 3whp off the outright RB power record?... from a car with headwork

but.. damn, that's nuts, for RB+boltons+tune

    wtf.

ED: 2whp off outright, but fbo+tune unopened, should be it.

Car ran great on the dyno. Can't wait to see how it runs Sunday at shift sector!

Also just for full disclosure we were doing 5th gear pulls which is the 1:1 gear on the DCT. Click here to enlarge

Sick numbers, but something seems off. Seems like same timing and boost as other RB cars but 20whp more? That doesn't add up, also one of the reason dyno's do not always relate to real world power.

Does DCT have less of a power % loss compared to MT and AT?

Maybe, but i don't see how, still plenty of gears being spun.

EDIT: Looks like DCT actually has more parasitic loss than a manual, thanks to @Sticky for the great article.

I'll be at shift sector on Sunday, but only as a spectator... If you need anyone to video some of your runs let me know. Would love to get a ride in a DCT with that much power!

Compared to an MT I ran on the same dyno with almost identical tuning it made around 20rw more. Is it really making that much more power? We'll find out Sunday. Click here to enlarge

I'd thought it had made more power. That, plus the shift time will make that car a monster out there. Can't wait to see it.

@Lulzm3, is there a difference between the manual in the M3 and 335i?

@E90Company, Minor differences but they are basically the same transmission. Stick's article is geared (see what i did there?) towards all DCT transmissions anyways.

Congrats to the OP. Been telling people this for sometime, there is a lot more power you can get out of the N54 DCT as long as its properly tuned and not abused .

Hope to see this car on the track with low 11s, sh*t high 10s "IF" that power is with its post shifts and driver mod. Would like to see it kick some azz at the shift sect also

Terry, I have a similar set up than the OP minus the meth. Looking at the logs, we are at about the same timing and boost at around 6k rpms. What do I need to do get up to his level without pushing the turbos any harder? Cause 70 more whp is bonkers.
