Boost peaks at ~22 psi. Transmission is 6AT. I'll post up a log tonight when I get home. Thanks to Terry for his support on this project! I was only hoping for 550 whp.

Finally got a chance to look at this.

Congrats on the numbers. now I'm wondering do you plan to run 100 + meth or E85 or what is next? Or is this it to preserve the trans?

I'll read over the thread as this may already be answered.

Still, very nice numbers and a great build. Nice to see this all come together.

Thanks! At some point I will probably do a 100 octane + meth dyno just for fun; but due to the cost of 100 octane and the rarity of E85 in NJ, I'll be sticking with 93 + meth for daily driving. My goal was 550 whp and I dynoed 570, so I'm satisfied.

    No I'm not, I need 600 now.

And I need 800. Then 900. And so on and so forth.

I think you're limited with the trans right now so just be happy.

I'm still impressed this is not some tuner's pet project but something you pushed.

Agreed, the 6AT is probably just a ticking timebomb at this point.

Think I may have had the first hint of a near tranny slip on this 3-4 shift.. I've been beating the hell out of the car at around 600whp so I guess I'll know soon. 6mt swap soon?

if u swap to 6mt, it will be slower but handle more power
if u satisfied with 600rwhp just buy a rebuilt kit for the 6AT, the swap will cost u more

MT will only be slower on the track. it will be faster from a roll for sure. and no headaches of breaking it. put a good clutch in it and forget about it.

Personally, I don't think I'll be dicking with a rebuild; the 6MT will be the route I take. You can find relatively low mile specimines on eBay for < $1,500, then add $1,400 for a good clutch / flywheel combo, ~ $500 for dealer new parts, then ~ $1,000 misc salvage parts (drive shaft, clutch pedal assy, shifter assy, etc.) and it should still be cheaper than a Level 10 or similar build. Hopefull a reliable auto trans solution will come along for those not willing to switch over, though. A good auto WILL absolutely be faster through the 1/4 mile.

Do you have any advice you can share on tuning the WGDC tables? I haven't touched mine at all and I'm seeing some odd results at times. When trying to run 15psi I'd only get 12-13. Now with the JB4 set to 16psi across the board I'm seeing about 18psi then it levels out and holds @ 18.

If you can leave black marks on a straight from the time you exit a corner till the time you brake for the next turn....... Then, you have enough horsepower.

its between 550-570 is the most -I- would feel comfortable with, and depends how its driven, the ones i know that clutches failed were beat-on pretty good, but occasional hard launches are ok. AKH had his AA kit for like 80k miles and no dct hiccups ever, but the WR holders were not so lucky

Stock manual trans is really easy to upgrade but around 600 whp for both. If you launch a lot, less.

Another speedo video. Probably beating a dead horse, but I wasn't completely happy with the first try. This one is with better traction and auto shift reduction turned off, so the car recovers a little faster after the shift. I forgot to close the windows and sunroof, though...

The JB4 has a setting to lower boost during the shift; I normally keep it maxed out to keep the shift as soft as possible. For this one run I turned it off to allow full boost through the shift. I just let the car shift itself at full throttle. The boost reduction is a nice feature.
