    o2 sensor odd readings

I am having weird issues with my bank 1 afr readings. I am pretty sure I just need a new upper sensor but just wanted to see if anyone has had the same issues. Usually on the first start after sitting it will hang on 14.7 or completely lean 30.00 or whatever cobb maxes out on. The car runs fine. I can stop restart the car and all is well. This morning on the way to work I started the car everything was fine and on decel it stayed at 29.x and did not change. I just switched to cobb and did not seem to have this problem with jb4. Here are the codes I get and a log

Thats very odd, my AFR's max out at 235.2 on decel. http://www.datazap.me/u/lulzm3/meth-...-92013?1-15-22

Definitely something fishy going on, do you have INPA?

    p2c7b - Post Cat O2 Sensor signal, Bank 1
    p2c3d - Pre-Cat O2 Sensor Wiring, Bank1
p2c2d - Pre-Cat O2 Sensor Thrust Control, Bank 1 (IDK what O2 sensor "thrust" control is, but it might just be a poor translation)

(all information on codes found in the stickies, BTW - http://www.bimmerboost.com/showthrea...153#post211153 )

You said you just switched to Cobb from JB4. Does that mean you just recently uninstalled your JB4? Could you have made a mistaken when returning your DME wiring to stock?

I would start by looking at the bank 1 (front) pre-cat O2 sensor. Maybe you can swap it with the other pre-cat sensor and see what happens. This should narrow the problem to the wiring or the sensor. The wiring wont reach when tucked away in the stock locations, but you can just run it over top of the engine for testing. Make sure it's not touching the turbos or downpipes.

When working correctly it does max out at 235.2 on decel. I do not have INPA. When I went to lunch today it worked great the whole time. Just seems to be after sitting. I can restart the car and the problem goes away.

I did just uninstall the jb4, but I have done it before and pretty confidant that it is correct. I may swap sensors this weekend and see if it follows. Are the plugs the same?

The only two differences between the pre-cat sensors are the color of the jacket and about eight inches in length.

I will update it this weekend I sure hope it follows with the sensor or I am not sure what to do. Here is a log that captured it great on the way home. It stuck on 14.7 then 30.xx and i restarted the car and all is well.

Just wanted to update in case someone finds it searching for codes. I replaced the bank 1 wideband sensor and all is well. No codes so far and the afr is reading as it should. Also when looking to buy a sensor I came across a NTK and a bosch. Doing research lots of people recommended NTK. I ended up getting the bosch and it is what is OE in the car. It is identical down the numbers stamped on it.
