I think at this point the only options worth doing are a 6mt swap, or just throwing in another stock unit and using it until it dies. Everything else just leaves to many questions unanswered.

ok, I spoke with a few people and we are gonna try to come up with another game plan this weekend.

don't quote me on it, don't ask "is it done yet?!" on monday- but I'm trying to keep the ball rolling here.

And that's why I kept the stock one I bought instead of selling it. Just in case but so far so good

when you're looking at $10k+ for the transmission alone, something more like at least 15-20k on the road... yeah....

Yeah I agree. Wish there were more options I just went with what's available. I think vac and alex are on the right track.

So is it ok if I quote you ^ and ask if it is done tonight??? lol
Thank you so much for trying to find a real solution for this man!

I honestly think the best answer for me, if this one were to fail, would be to just throw in another used unit and wait for other upgrade options (like yours). It would be hard for me to justify spending 7-10k for something that might not be an upgrade...

Jzeee037, PLEASE keep us updated on how your trans performs and if you see any improvements when you take it to the track.

Will do. Got cooler temps coming in this weekend, maybe low 70's so I'm going to the track if it doesn't rain. Still curious about your tune. We run similar setup with big difference being turbo choice and 1 vs 3 series. Are you running custom map 6 or map 3 with a big additive? Get yourself a lsd my 2nd gear was useless before it. I think you have a record setting setup and I'm pulling for you to get in the 10's.

    Thanks man!
For my car, I run map 3 with a 70add daily and 80add at the track. Fuel is a E60 mix and meth is 100% using a DO14 nozzle.

A LSD is on my short list of things to that I would like to get. But I don't know if it will be the thing that puts me over the top. Even with street tires I have had decent success launching in 2nd gear averaging about a 1.9 60' with a few high 1.8's every now and then. With the DR's I am still learning the heat them proper but am feeling pretty good about launching them around 3k in 2nd. I know this is not ideal for my trans but man I want that 10! Thank you for the support!

Yeah that's close to what I run. I run a 75add a lot of the time. If you don't want to break the bank on a trans. just stick another stocker in there. You can get that 60' down with a lsd and it made a huge difference for me. I can stall up a little more with this converter but launching about 3300 is pretty stout for me. When it sticks I kind of feel like somethings going to break.lol

That's not good... but also not a good idea to wait if it is very painful.

If it's been three days or so and you haven't felt better I'd go have it checked out. I've dealt with stomach problems before and generally if it hurts you don't want to play around. You don't have many nerves in that part of your body so if you have persistent pain lasting for days, see a doctor.

Mine lasted over a week with not returning to normal for 3 -4 weeks. Lots of meds and eating probiotics and yogurts. Cancun is fun until you get back home.

Yes, I ve been using auto transmission on E36 M3 Euro / E46 M3 Euro,

both twin turbo, 1000 WHp al least.

The trans that I use shifts very fast, has its own software to adjust as per each cars's set up.

If a 335 would come I could have adapt it to fit and work on 335.

    Price is 19,000 USD.

Not cheap but its an auto tranny with user programmable software, holds 1ooo whp easily.
Zero loss of boost drop in gear changes....

show us pics of the trans, who will program the trans?

lower the price to 10k or 9999$ then many of us will buy it

    Wİll post pics

Transmission is a very solid unit
    Internal modifications
New torque converter as per driving style, road, drag....
    New propeller shaft
    New Transmission cooler, lines
    New flywheel
    Transmission control unit
    Transmission control unit harness

    +
Touch screen control panel, has digital buttons P R N D & SPort. There is no shift lever, there is a high tech touch screen which makes the system more attractive.

When you add up all these items cost is at least 15k. At least...

I am not on the market to capture customers, I am a M3 addict, had to find my own way to shift darn fast and have it reliable at the same time.

thats how I built the auto trans kits for my M3s.

I need to get a 335 in house and adapt the transmission.

Its not a cheap kit, but it has no alternative and makes it shift like a GTR and hold 1000 whp.

The auto trans kit will enable my E36 M3 Euro Twin Turbo go 60-130 mph in 3,49 seconds soon. Adding up some new parts soon will hit the road.

The same auto trans will enable my All Wheel Drive E46 M3 go 60-130 mph in under 3 seconds.

This kit will cut 1/4 times of a lightly modified 335 by 1,5 seconds at least. Each gear shift takes 0,35-0,6 s depending on trans control and load status on a regular 335. Say 0,5 s each shift. We eliminate 3 shifts in a 1/4 mile test, 3 x 0,5 = 1,5 s gain.

This is a very rigid and fast shifting kit.

If there will be demand, I may find a 335 locally and get the trans kit adapted to 335. All it needs is a new bell housing.

The quaife QBE69G transmission is a "semi-automatic" 6 speed. It has optional paddle shifters and digital led gear selection panel. They do make it for the BMW, either helical or straight cut input shaft and gear set but its a little over $15,000. Ya thats 15 grand. Way expensive.
