No not yet, but I used Shiv's tutorials for his tablet to get my feet wet.

i have so much on my plate right now between the single project, manual swap, fuel system fix, and having a main goal of mine being to rev to 8000rpm. Ill have to put some spare time into the tunerpro stuff i already have a cobb but i have the cord for the bb flash too. Just hoping some kind of diy existed. Need to raise rev limiter slowly and see what happens. I ordered a valve spring and retainer just to take a look at to compare to some aftermarket valve springs else where. May have ferrera make some springs for me if need be...

No tunerpro tutorial thread and it doesn't seem like anyone here has a lot of experience with it unfortunately.

IT's already apart of the XDF I have. The offset in the I8AOS is 508E0, there you should read two 00's before its current value.. It goes by four bytes. mine current says 201C which if you reverse it due to the DMS info structure it is 1C20 and if you convert hex to decimal its set to 7200 which would be the RPMS, and that is by gear. There is 8 total bites you need to modify. A good way to tell is that there is a 00 before and after.

Also the stock bin file I just checked the default value is 1B46 but in the DME it will read 46 1B which is 6982 in decimal.

Shivs xdf's allow you to change the rev limiter.

Who's springs? I didn't think any AM were available. Or did you order stocks?

As I have said before, I would love to see an N54 reved out to 8k with upgraded stock frame turbos...afaik no one knows when the stock springs start to float. My guess is around 7600. But then again I am not vary familiar with how much the average bmw engine can be over reved...I am surprised no one has pushed the envelope. Then again given what is possible with the stock rev limiter i guess it isn't all surprising especially as stock frame turbos take such a dive.

Even if you do get the N54 to rev more you will just exacerbate fuel issues.

I started one but got no responses.

    http://www.bimmerboost.com/showthrea...ons-Flash-Tune

I think the difference between ATR, TP, or whatever Vishu uses is going to be minimal. Its very straightforward. The issue is more understanding how the tables are related... Also not being able to log load kind of sucks, but I have been working on the lower end of the RPM band which means I can just reference ignition advance.

I am working on bringing back a bunch of MPG that was lost when I flashed over for some reason (50% E85 50% gas).

Why would you want to change the rev limiter? I don't even shift past 6,500rpm lol. This motor likes to be shifted sooner and boosted harder in the midrange.

single turbo and some vanos changes would love high rpms. I ended up canceling the order on the springs apparently ferrera has done testing on our head and are planning on releasing parts for it soon
