OK I see it revving in to the rev limiter triggering that throttle closure. I'd load up say 26.5 and log map 4 (which is ~7psi) so you can verify the over rev is torque related. If it doesn't do it on 26.5 map 4 then its probably trans slippage. Click here to enlarge

Also, fix the kick down blocking so you are going 100% throttle.

    Thanks for the info Terry.
Is this what your transmission did as well? Even doing normal driving on map 0 it will over rev at times.

Mine does that on the 2-3 at higher power levels, and also pops out of gear in 5th or never makes it in to 5th gear. Some day I'll rebuild it. But since removing the RB turbos and running ~60-70whp less it's been behaving OK.

Oh wow, yeah mine hasn't popped out of any gears yet. Just does that over rev . sucks because track day is on Friday and I just got the car running strong! I don't know if I should take the chance at the track with it doing that.

I'd skip the track day it'll only tick you off. At first mine only did this launching hard with dr's but eventually was a everyday thing. How many miles on your car ? I bought a trans from lkq with 10k on it for a little over a grand to get me by and built the other one. There are going to be some good temps coming up for track days so I'd get it done asap if you want to play but the more you use dr's the quicker it'll go.

why are your oil temps only around 70? Is that 70C? If so, you really should allow the oil temp to reach about 100C before going WOT.
