All ECU reads being equal, shouldn't the org files be identical?

Prior to having the OFT flash installed, I read the ECU with the BB flash 1.0.0.4 to serve as a backup being that I own a BT cable.

I compared the two org files yesterday in TunerPro as I want to return to stock. Both TunerPro and the Windows comp command detect differences beginning at offset 0780.

Here is a screen cap from TunerPro:

Has anyone else with access to both flash utilities experienced anything similar?

Even for the same car if you are reading an area where adaptations values are stored it can change over time.

He didn't say log file. He said org file, which is the extension of the bin when its the original read out bin.

Thanks for the input guys. I never considered adaptations, but I suppose if those values are stored within the bin/org file, that might explain the difference.

The rom types vary a lot. There are emissions settings and various other things. Not to mention that there are multiple versions of the Rom types.

I don't know what I was thinking. I think I meant the log file generated. I don't even know.
