Not much happening yet, should change in the new year.
Then I will strip the car completely and soda blast it.
Then "cancer" removal and new material welded in plus
the cage from Custom cages. Hopefully rust will not be
    an issue for some years.

My good Danish friend will hopefully have time in
January to put the DCT box back together with the clutch
disks he was making for it. Then I have to get the box
over here, hopefully along with heads and headers so I
can start positioning the engine properly and fabricate
    around it.

Hope 2014 will be a good year for this car so my super
optimistic plan of driving at the Ring the summer of 2015
at 8500rpm & reasonable speeds will become a reality Click here to enlarge

Dismantling continues. The guy that bought the old cage came over today and we ripped it out along with other stuff.

I still don't get how you're going to get this damn thing to fit.

Epic project is epic though, respect.

Well, the engine has been done before and fits fine.

DCT however, hasnīt been done yet so that is going to be an adventure.
Nothing that a grinder and a sledgehammer wont fix.

Yeah I saw the S85 fitted into the E30 before but damn did that take some work.

Regardless, doing it with DCT on top is just badass. Much respect once again.

Got a friend of mine who has already tore down his Europameister E30 M3 to help me yesterday, heīs very normal:

Plan now is to strip the car as soon as possible and then itīs getting blasted by "Dustless Blasting" (Home - Dustless Blasting). Then Iīll get a better idea how much metal work has to bee done.

It's a bit easier if you're divorced and your kids are grown and away at school. Glad to see you're back at it after so long without an update. Totally love the project and hang in there, it'll be well worth it when its done! Great work!

Ok, I went to my friends Mr. X's place in Denmark and picked up the head, he brought it from the US.
