    BimmerBoost Flash and JB4 question

I have a couple questions if someone would mind answering them I would greatly appreciate it.

So my car FBO, I just did the BimmerBoost Flash with one of Terry's race maps.

    1) Is the JB4 just controller boost and meth now? I set all settings to 0.
So map 7 is doing anything with timing better than lets say map 3? Just trying to figure that out.

Also under settings for the JB4 interface I selected number 6) "G5 ISO w/ BMS Flash. 1M, or 335is"

Am I suppose to have another setting for none 1 m 335is?

Sorry if my questions seem noobish I just want to make sure I get everything right before dyno day.

E-mail Terry or see if he posts @Terry@BMS

Sometimes its good to make a thread though instead of e-mail in case you ask a question that can help others so they don't have to e-mail. I know I hate getting e-mails when the question is already answered on the forum as it just wastes my time.

JB4 never directly did anything with timing, which is absolutely fine for pump gas. With race gas or e85 on the other hand you'll leave a little bit on the table with only the jb4.

With the backend most of the fuel/timing/important things are transferred... or at least unrestricted... in the DME. Convenient things like absolute boost targets, NLS, bias for inconsistent e85 mixes, failsafes, gauges etc remain on the piggyback naturally since they are added features. Absolute final timing will be a function of whichever flash you use, your knock (fuel/mods), and your target boost. Hope that helps.
