Started the water/methanol installation but stoopid me forgot one essential part which I just ordered from NX

Did some test runs on the stock car with the only addition being an AFE CAI..

Car weight 3795 lbs, 1/2 tank gas, my ass and a 55lb border collie, 93 octane (Shell) - 5 runs of the following taking out best and worst times

Baseline to be used for latter comparisons

    0 to 60 mph = 6.0 secs
    10 to 90 mph = 11.3 secs
    30 to 70 mph = 5.6 secs

    1/4 mile = 14.5 secs

    Started install

did these times with 1/4 tank race gas and no spare tire, empty car, guessing 3700 lbs

    0 to 60 mph = 5.7 secs
    0 to 80 mph = 11.3 secs
    10 to 90 mph = 11 secs
    30 to 70 mph = 5.4 secs

1/4 mile = 14.1 secs (fudged a bit with roll out) so say 14.4

So in mid October, last time we posted around these parts, I went to the movies in Hampton Bays to see "Gravity"...

We came out from said movie to find the front of my poor old 540i ripped to pieces and lying on the ground...

Anyway, will post some pics when I get a chance..... needless to say the missus and I thought she would be a write off but the dudes at Otis Ford put my beast back together and it actually rides better than ever.............

I just drove around the south of USA ................. NY to Austin to NOLA to Miami Beach.......

Will update the Nitrous build when I return to NY early in 2014

Oh it gets better.... my other horse got hit with me and the missus in it... broke a few bones............ I was in a car park

Having 3 months of bad luck in car parks so am valeting any and all future cars...

BTW drove a new Z51 3LT C7 Vette................ was not as GOOD as I had hoped... a lot of traction and "slippage" problems on the DCT... trying a manual tomorrow down here in FL

The M4 will really kick its ass over 0-60, 0-100 mph we think !!!!!!!!!!!!!
