N54 community, where are your uploads?

So you guys clamored for the flash option and you have it. But where are your files?

Maintaining the file database is up to the community.

We need more definition files, stock files, flashes, etc.

I'll do what I can myself I guess in adding to it but your flash options are only as strong as your flash files.

What files would you guys like to see?

Need data logging for this to be effective. BT datalog capabilites are lacking, as are the OpenFlash tablet datalogs. Cobb is still and will remain the clear cut winner for this unless significant development is made. For the time being, it will just be a means for Piggyback users to easily flash their back ends... Wait, flash their backend.. does that sound right?

Cobb should be the winner that isn't the point.

My point is more files should be up.

What we need is community developed XDF files, Shiv's are incomplete in that some tables are very mislabeled or just wacky. After that users can begin uploading their own "tunes."

Even with ATR being available for quite a while now, there aren't many users throwing maps around. I am not so sure this will take off like people are expecting.

I don't know how to tune however would love to try a map. I have a 2008 E92 6MT with just a intake right now. Would me uploading my stock read ECU help the community at all? I don't want to just download any map off the web and get screwed.

It's the same answer it's always been.

Right now we need files to use with the program so the program can continue to evolve.

I was, but went back to my Cobb. I'm FBO + meth, no other flash besides Cobb can support that kind of power at the moment.

i have uploaded my stock IJEOS bin from 2009 e90 n54 6at sport premium production month 10/2008. started to analyze the hex and have it nicely laid out in excel w/ hex, ANSI and conversions to decimal. already found my VIN and ready to start finding something useful.

I was able to get everything in excel using HxD to open the BIN file and to copy the hex values. I then pasted them into excel, text to columns, use formulas to convert to decimals and just retained ANSI from the original paste. Works well for those of you who prefer to work in excel. I don't know if this would be helpful to the community but I could put together a quick step by step if it accelerates the process.

didn't really do this for tuned bins, just looking to learn, but i will happily welcome any tuned bins anyone wants to send my way!

It won't be free unfortunately I'll have to pay a tuner for a quality tune.

A free tune will have to come when somebody makes one.

Depending on cost I'm sure some would pay for a quality tune from a trusted source. I know I would.

    Wow that's awesome.
I, like @SLV335I know nothing about tuning so I would love if someone could guide us noobs on how to do basic tuning or if someone can do a tune for us and explain what they did and how they did it. I understand that this may take a lot of resources, but it'd be cool to learn.
