Have you written this file back successfully to your car as well? One thing we should probably do before uploading, is to ensure that the read was not only validated but wrote back and the car ran okay. Just an extra measure to take that may be helpful.

That's a good point. I haven't written it back yet. My 'play' time has been somewhat limited with work getting in the way. I still have Downpipes and an FMIC sitting in my garage waiting to go on. They have been there for over a month.

MSD80 I presume? Now that you have it load our canned 18A0S map. Curious if it works for AU spec! Click here to enlarge

I was a little dubious to try this, as I know it needs its own XDF. My understanding is that the XDF tells tuner pro where to find the different tables. If they require different XDFs then that would mean that the DMEs will be looking in a different places for the fuel tables for example?

I wasn't sure what complications that could cause if it is looking for a fuel value in a spot where there is a nil value, or a timing value where it is set to 100% or something silly like that.

I assumed (perhaps falsely) that the logic is stored outside of the BIN file we are playing with and therefore installing your BIN won't change where the dme looks for values?

By loading the 18A0S file, assuming your DME takes it, then you are updated to 18A0S and can use the 18A0S XDF. Click here to enlarge
