    2.8 Turbo Dyno Results: 503/421

I just recently purchased this car, and took it to the dyno I get the boost dialed in. Car was originally holding 15-16psi, but was pig rich throughout the powerband. I turned it up to 19psi, and it slowly tapers down higher up in the revs. I'm happy with the results. I am looking forward to upgrading the Injectors and revising the tune in order to push it further.

    Who tuned it?

501 wheel, must be a lot of fun. I would think you could push it quite a bit more though.

thanks for the help embedding the video. I tried figuring that out, but was unsuccessful.
Honestly I've always been one to push the limits of my cars, but I can't deny the fact that my injectors are undersized. I'm assuming that my duty cycle is almost 100% at this point. It is an Active Autowerks custom tune. I plan to upgrade to 60 or 80 lb Injectors, have it retuned, and then see how much the stock bottom end wants to tolerate. It is indeed just a stock 2.8 with a thicker head gasket.

i appreciate the interest, the car is alot of fun. But as we all know, horsepower junkies are never satisfied, haha.

True but it's nice to see stock internal turbocharged BMW originally NA motors making these numbers. The M50 line is awesome.
