I'd be concerned about 17's clearing the rear brakes but I believe guys have run 17's.

    Let's move this to W204.

I remember a thread on C63 drag racing tire options let me see if I can find it.

i know that 16s wouldn't clear it, but i know 17s will. i've got the non perf package brakes if it matters.

i'm more concerned with the offset and whether bore diameter matters or not

I wish we had a wheel/tire expert that could cover offset.

    Regardless, let's get you answers.

I'm not much of an expert with ET and spacers either.

I'll keep bumping and see if we can get you an answer.

Usually 10mm in or outwards will be fine, anything over that could be a hassle...

if the offset is ET50 and you add 20mm spacers, the offset will reduce to ET30...

From what i read about the C63 AMG, the offset is the following for 18" 5spoke wheels:

    Front:
    18 X 8.0 Offset 45
    235/40/18

    Rear:
    18 X 9.0 Offset 54
    255/35/18

Wheels with offset 50 will clear easily if 17" clear the stock brakes, if you need to push the wheel out, i think 10mm (~0.5") spacer would be the absolute limit as it will drop offset to 40 for the rear, and anything over that may (don't take this for granted, i'm not a MB guy) cause rub...

These wheels would be strictly for drag radials. So as long as I can fit the tires on there and not rub, i'll be happy

    What about bore diameter?

And do I need to worry about hub centric?

It would be nice to get hub-centric rings... the OEM bore of all newer mercedes' should be if i'm not mistaken 66.56mm
