That will change in time. The N54's keep dropping in price so more people are picking them up to mod.

What would help is some F30 ECU cracking!

Andrew quick Question for you.. When I first bought my 2011 N55, I had the BMW PPK software installed, They said thats all I needed since my car had an upgraded Intercooler, ( they checked my vin for parts installed? ) Since then I have had Jb4 stage 2 tuner, BMS intake, CP-e 5" downpipe, MagnaFlow sport exhaust, and the CP-e charge pipe on the way, can I stick with the so-called BMW intercooler, or should I upgrade that also? I appreciate an honest answer and want the best of course! I live in Arizona and have a lot of Heat and I like to run a mix of 91octane and 100 race gas to get to 93 0r 95 depending on what I can afford Click here to enlarge

I ran stock intercooler for awhile and I had some pretty high intake temps to be honest. There was some definite heat soak and loss of power after a few runs. With that said I think its a good idea if you have some high ambient air temps in your area.

    Or Install a meth kit.
