Meth is what you're looking for. You already have an aftermarket FMIC, the extra 2" is not going to be the same benefits you will see with Meth.

Also meth keeps your motor much cleaner.

So on that note, do both, meth first.

I would go this direct first before even considering meth OR I could just drop dry ice in my FMIC shroud lip Click here to enlarge for sh!ts and giggles
Only question is how the Co2 gases it gives off would effect how the car runs, it would for sure dilute the oxygen level in the air, just not sure how much.

The dry ice would be external, located in front of the intercooler.

I understand, but when dry ice "melts" it turns into Co2 gas. So this gas would be sucked into the intercooler. Not sure where else you would put it, just not sure how the gas would effect performance.

Intercoolers don't suck in air. The pressurized air leaving the turbos goes into the Intercooler and is cooled by exchanging heat with the aluminum surface. The Intercooler itself absorbs the heat, which is cooled by the external air flowing over its surface. It's a sealed system.

lol, yeah, I know this...not sure what I was thinking. I had air intake on my mind from talking to a friend. You theory may work sir, try it and post some IAT's! lol

lol if intercoolers sucked in air, we'd all have hydrolocked or caused engine damage from all the bugs and debris entering the charge. Click here to enlarge

But honestly, get BOTH. A good FMIC + meth will flatline IATs to ambient and sustain them for a very long period of time.

Neither I say a modest dry shot of nos. NX has the best kit out IMHO every safety cut off you can think of and more control of how/when it's used that you can't get with meth.
