Definitely log it. If the JB4 is in the mix it would be easy to whip up the code that continually resets o2 adaptions if they are learning improperly.

Well that was a failed experiment I guess, the car ran so rough today it almost wasn't driveable. I reset the o2 adaptions a few times with the BT software and it didn't seem to improve anything, so I've moved the sensors back pre-turbo.

If you can leave black marks on a straight from the time you exit a corner till the time you brake for the next turn....... Then, you have enough horsepower.

How many O2 sensors does the N55 use and where are they place? Has anyone dug into the N55 DME logic to see what the differences are between it and the N54? If someone were to find those different sections, could they be used to rewrite the N54 DME logic so that we could run N55 O2 placements?

i guess im missing the point.. having the front 02 sensors pre turbo in separate banks on the manifold is not an issue. You just put spacers there and ur done. I havent had a single 02 sensor issue in 5 months of beating on the car

Do you have pics of your solution? Maybe something to work off of...\

seems like a lot of work to have a single product and end up making pennies on the dollar for it too.

What heat sinks / sensors are you using?
Turbo lag is the on ramp to the highway which is power.

Are you running 3 sensors post turbo? Looks like it in the pic, maybe one is for a wide band datalogger or something. Also daily driving it and beating on it is fine, what kills these things is mileage seeing that heat. How many miles total do you have on those O2's pre turbo. Its good news to see that they are hanging in their though.

All 4 of mine are currently in the process of getting replaced. I paid $89.52 each for Bosch 17098 (pre-cats) and $89.32 for Bosch 16795 (post-cats) off Amazon. They're pretty good prices, especially with free Amazon Prime two-day shipping.

Has anyone tried tricking the coolant temp of the engine to keep the temp below the closed loop enable?

Does anyone know the closed loop enable temp - potentially we could scrub the hex for this value and do some experimenting. Despite what I've read in other threads I dont see how holding the car in OL would be a problem once you line up the rest of the tune.

I suggested they manufacture the product that they designed and undercut the competition and make a profit...how does that make me cheap? Speaking of cheap I would still love to see cast log manifolds for a grand or less. Throw on a QSV and call it a day.

That might work; but unfortunately you would defeat the purpose of having wideband O2 sensors in the first place. The DME wouldn't be able to adjust A/F ratio on the fly. This is especially convenient if you run meth.
