    I know both of our IAT's were very high but I wonder how my 5" compared to your 7" on that last run. Mine climbed about 30 degrees. Did you spray meth at all during the last run or was it completely off?
    It sprayed, didn't shut off until I hit about 90. What was your IAT before the run? I was sitting at 131 when we pulled into the lanes. I can do a run without meth on E30 now and see where they are. Would be interesting.

    Yeah, I was 118 as well when we pulled out of the line. Then 130 or so launching. I'll be sure to log an e30 only run at the track Thursday night and see what happens. Then I'll log with meth just to show difference. If you can, post a graph with your IAT from that pull Saturday night and we'll compare.

    In your OP you said you have the ETS 5" . @Prat10 has the ETS 5" we compared it with my Dinan Spearco FMIC. The Dinan FMIC did better in suppressing IAT at WOT high speeds. The ETS 5" however was better at idle and cruising IATs

    I have also compared the Helix with the Dinan, and the Helix is better at suppressing heat at idle, cruising and high speed WOT's. Now as far as comparing the Helix with the ETS 7" there are no real world tests.

    Prat10 will be getting the ETS 7" and I will be getting the Cobb N54 FMIC instead of the Helix since couple users who have had both said the Cobb N54/N55 FMIC was better than Helix.

    However, since I do have access to Helix users and soon Cobb FMIC and ETS 7" all three will be compared in Florida oven heat to see which is better at suppressing IAT's during idle, cruise, and WOT high speeds. Nothing here will go untouched as it will be in "real world conditions" rather in some test lab, and same identical tune.

    So at this point I cannot comment on the ETS 7", all I know is its a huge FMIC, however IC size doesn't really mean a thing unless tested and compared
    I'm definitely interested in this test as the heat is killing me this summer and has really hurt me at the track with the stock IC (charge air temps were in the 170+ range on the top end of the track my last trip out and I could feel the car dragging ass because of it).

    sprayed meth till it shut off around 90 mph, limped across the finish line for a 12.5 @102.... lol

    I went out about an hour ago and did some logs. It was 87* out so about the same as saturday.

    Did a pull on map7 with meth just for kicks. Jesus does it hall ass on e30+meth!

    That was actually first time I even looked at IAT's with no meth on the 7" ETS, I'm almost shocked they only raised about 15 degrees.

    Correct no Meth. I took off in 2nd from about a 15 mph roll, ran it up to about 120mph.

    yup ETS 7" is def performing if it only raised 15 degree in that weather from 15mph to 120 roll
