Id say get this sucker now! Crisp DCT shifting at any rpm now, no sloppiness like with stock bushings. Great mod for the DCT M3

I am assuming this works very in conjunction with the lock down kit?

Pretty sure this is the lockdown kit

Rick -- How much would it be to have you install the kit with the Aug pricing? Might try to send you my car before MPact on Sept 14th

This is just for the M3 specifically, the N54/55 kit is a different design

    why are they so different?

i thought the subframe design was fundamentally the same when an M3 diff bolts on to a non-M subframe etc.?

    on further reading:
i take it the M diff has better/more mounts, and the M lockdown kit is a lot stiffer than the non m one?

and does it include full front+rear solid subframe mounts? i'm unsure from pictures lol

The actual subframe itself is vastly different from the N54/55 version, yet diff mounting points are the same, correct. It uses the factory M subframe mounts and rear diff mount, replaces the front 2 diff mounts and then provides support to the diff via the brace, which mounts to the subframe just inside of the rear subframe to body bushings via custom hardware. I know, delayed response..Click here to enlarge..had another kid, been off the grid for a bit.
Also, I will be selling these at a nicely reduced price to clear out some stock, there's a handful "hanging" around. PM me for details.

If you have a DCT M3, you really really REALLY want this. The trans shifts much more crisp than before. Wheel-hop is all gone!

Just like an LSD is a great mod for the 1/335's, this is a great mod for the M3's

I didn't get to test it out much after I had mine installed but the lack of wheel hop at the track was noticed instantly. It is a must buy for anyone doing any type of racing really

Sorry if I missed it somewhere, but is there a DIY or any details on the install of this part. I'm interested but need to know if this can be installed at home with basic tools or something a shop needs to handle.
