You gotta look in places that see snow. Here it's almost impossible to find RWD cars. Amusingly enough, the RWD car I bought was originally purchased in Texas. I want to say in Houston IIRC

    hmmmm a stroker you say?

this could be amazing im just worried about making the stroke too long the I beams will allow for alot of stroke but we already have a fairly long stroke on our motors. Either way the rods look great. What power do you think thes will hold?
Turbo lag is the on ramp to the highway which is power.

Our stroke isn't all that long... but a long rod motor would definitely be interesting. With the proper head work to make our car useful at high RPM a long rod motor could be very interesting indeed, if fuel delivery holds. Even if you don't do it for the RPM, less side load on the open deck and a bit more dwell time is a good thing. Dynamic compression ftw.

our stroke is already a bit longer than our bore enough where stroking it to the point of it being worth it i think would kill its ability to rev safely

nope. I mean, unless your stroking massive amounts (which isn't the case here) OR you are trying to make the engine rev another 5,000 rpm or some nonsense; the amount we are stroking will do nothing to its rev limit right now.

An XI in Houston is like a nun in a strip club. That being said, in Houston, anything is possible. Especially the nun in places like St. James I bet.

Main and head studs are available.
    Rods are available.
Pistons are in manufacturing- once we have an order number, it will be very simple to just call them up and re-order.
Valvetrain is still getting kinks worked out.

We are putting two of these together for two different companies. working on a third for myself Click here to enlarge

    Sure!

As previously stated, con-rods, and head/main studs are available for purchase.
Pistons are being manufactured right now. We are bringing the compression down slightly.
Our custom valves are being made right now as well. They are stainless 1 piece intake and Inconel exhaust to handle extreme heat.
They are available in stock size or +1mm.

We also have produced a HUGE deck plate. It gets torqued to the block during boring and honing processes to mimic the cylinder head being installed. We install the Headstuds, bolt the deck plate down and hone the cylinders. It keeps the cylinders more true (as if the engine was assembled)

This is done on every engine we do regardless, we just had to make it for the N54 platform Click here to enlarge

What's your opinion on dropping compression on these?

What will you be dropping yours to?

i haven't worked out if i wantto stay 10.2 or go a bit lower Click here to enlarge

how much should a set of intake+exhaust valves retail for?

very excited for more progress, keen for getting myself some late christmas presents haha

We are dropping compression slightly so we can throw more boost at them.......

I have 3 sets of pistons coming with 9.5:1 compression. Valve relief will stay the same, since no aftermarket cams are available.

Intake and exhaust valves will TBD when I get them in my hand, I'm positive stock and +1 valves will be less than 1000.00

heh, that was my thought - though if the supplementary fuel stuff gets sorted enough to safely run E85 at any power level, it'd be less of a concern no? so stay 10.2:1 and cross my fingers waiting for that, or 9.5:1 and have a little more safety and more power sooner *shrug*

awesome, can't be too unhappy with that sorta pricing Click here to enlarge

What stroke is the stroker going for? Is there enough bore spacing to get another mm or so in bore? The long term biggest limit to making usable power is this engines displacement which is already pretty maxed with tight bore spacing and a short deck. With such a short deck I think the R/S will go to $#@! pretty soon unless the wrist pins can be moved up, which is unlikely.

Prices and availibility have been all updated on the first post. We had to make some price changes due to manufacturer's and mid-step changes in production. We still try to bring the best value for the money Click here to enlarge
