Its very audible but not annoying, just a quick rush of air. You can look up vids on youtube or I can get some sound clips if you would like.

Hey guys, got to dyno the car today FBO+Meth 93 octane fuel. Here is the dyno pull showing comparison between 1st and 2nd pull. 1st pull was Map 3 with boost additive at 40, 2nd pull was additive at 50. Stock baseline dyno was done with his car and it was 255/260 i think I have a picture of the baseline too.

Stock dyno v my first pull with 40 boost additive (about 16 psi)

Oh yeah...I took some videos... Click here to enlarge

This video is of @Ztuner car, it was his shop. He was running a modified E30 cobb map (he's a tuner himself) with an ETS intercooler and some e85 in the tank...not too shabby! Thanks again Harry for coming out on a Saturday it was fun.

    Map 3 50 boost additive

Please feel free to offer any input/advice to this thread. The biggest hurdle for myself will be tuning, which @Terry@BMS will be helping me out to hopefully build a terrific car.

I purchased this car about 2 months ago, it had 37k miles, 6AT, black dakota leather, navi, fully optioned, yada yada (seems like most ppl list that info so there ya go). Here is a picture of the car.

    http://www.bimmerboost.com/images/im...26990d29-1.jpg

    List of current mods:

    JB4
Cobb AP (now used for BMS backend flash)
    BMS Downpipes
    BMS OCC
    BMS oil cooler upgrade
    BMS DCI (white oiled filters)
    ETS 7" FMIC
ETS charge pipe with all new charge line piping
    Tial BOV

    Black grille
    BG Goofrich G-force drag radials

    Mods coming soon/on their way/etc:

    BMS 2.2g meth kit
    Turner CF M3 spoiler
    Cyba 4.0 Carbon exhaust tips

Vargas Stage 2 Batch 2 turbos with upgraded thrust option and GTX compressor wheel option
    Quaife LSD
    Level 10 Trans upgrade
    Custom exhaust

Thank for you reading/looking and please don't forget to add input to questions below!! Thank you!

    Questions:

    1) Which tuner should I use to log, Cobb AP or JB4

    2) I've gotten to the point I can log, and create table in ATR, but can't figure out how to graph it...

That's it for now, thanks in advance!!
Looks good man, check out the data grapher that zasquatch created. Its very easy to use and takes any CSV and give you a nice graph and all the values separated i n a very easy to read Excel file. I have used it for a while and its great.

Ok, some updates and teaser pics....decided to completely transform the outside of the vehicle. CF spoiler and front lip are now on the car, Active Autowerke full signature exhaust, and picked up a sweet strut brace bar while at AA. Also, some 20" everyday street wheels are on the way. (Vossen)

other items purchased and arrived but not installed yet:

Oil cooler thermo delete plate (custom plate)
Walbro in-line LPFP upgrade (plan on running e50)
    NGK spark plugs
ECS Tuning racing transmission mounts (hoping these and Alpina flash and possible trans cooler will be a huge help for tranny to hold 550 whp) we'll see.

Looking good! Are you doing the inline LPFP yourself? Let me know when you plan on doing it. I want to do it as well and figured we could both knock it out at the same time.

Sounds like a plan to me. Do you have all your parts yet? I'm hoping to receive the hose, clamps, and fittings today. Text me and we'll figure out a day. 941-223-three-five-five-nine

Solid log. Since you're using e85, I'd include trims at a minimum and i usually add meth flow on there too.

I did get and do a couple pulls today. Here is a log of what's currently running. Map 3 with 40 boost additive and 60 flow scaling. haven't touched boost yet. Will get a dyno this week/weekend and go to test and tune thursday night.

Trims are on there. Meth is in the others, I guess I just didn't check that box for that pic, my bad, but I do hi-jack oil temp gauge for meth flow so that I know it's working properly.

I meant to ask about that before, my trims just bottom out when meth flows, is that normal?

Update: New wheels and tires are on, exhaust is sounding good, still haven't bee able to take pictures with my good camera yet and get the car detailed as weather as just been plain awful last 2 weeks here in southwest Florida, but here's a couple pics of the exhaust and a quick shot of the wheels the night they got installed. More pro-quality pics will hopefully be done soon, weather depending.

Also, stock turbos are starting to smoke now and make a not normal sound on decel, so good thing the Stage 2's are about to ship!

Can you post some more info about the oil thermostat delete plate?

Why didn't you just replace the thermostat with aluminum piece that PTF or BMS sell?

I have the BMS thermo, but I want to dress up the engine compartment and also re-work the oil lines, the plate allows me to do so, not really necessary I know. It's basically the same as the Stett or RB plate. It's actually the same price as the little thermo lol
