On a side note, are there any other tuner platforms that Vargas is looking to tackle? Porsche, new turbo M3 (I know you tested the waters for the S63), Mercedes AMG motors, etc etc?

Were well into our Ford Ecoboost program, Already offer Audi upgrades, May move into Porsches, are 100% all over the new M3, and want to get involved in the AMG's that is a wide open market. Just takes time when putting so many irons in the fire...

Yea, it's def a good time to be a turbo vendor with all the performance cars & advancements that are being made with turbo motors. All I could ask for (like any consumer) is just deliver a quality product at a fair market price.

I took a look through the OFT stage 1 log and i'm honestly not a fan of what I see. I would probably be even less a fan if cylinders 2-6 were available to be logged. That much boost on the stock hardware is also killing repeatable power. Boost control is no better than Cobb OTS maps(of course, each car will respond differently based on WGs but that kind of deflates the boost control superiority I've seen touted over there.)

@rader1, i've been driving around the Shivflash stage 1 for 3-4 days now. I'm beginning to really hate this map. Power is like an on/off switch, tip in spool up was great at first, but over the past two days has began to oscillate VERY badly. I think i may create a linear throttle version (so that it can be uploaded if @Sticky ever finishes that forum sectionClick here to enlarge) and throw my Cobb maps back on.

They need to remap the boost to throttle input to make it workable IMHO. But rarely have I seen any negative posts about it so maybe everyone wants 100% power at 60% throttle input these days? Shrug.

It probably has a lot more to do with aggressive throttle mapping making you "think" it makes more power than it does. Not saying it's a bad thing(hell, i'm a HUGE fan of Cobb's stock throttle mapping as opposed to the linear mapping) but I HIGHLY doubt this is anything close to smooth as far as drivability goes.

@lulz_m3 I've thought about giving the stage 1 map a try but I'm sure I would have to remap most/all the WGDC tables to work with my turbos so it wouldn't exactly be a fair comparison.

Most of the OFT users appear to be straight up noobs, so it doesn't surprise me that they are drunk with the {insert Jeremy Clarkson} POWER!!!!!

Most of the tenured users are just using it for the PROcede back end flash, so they are really feeling what its like to drive on that map daily.
