First time to the track with RB's

I was recently able to get the car out for some 1/4 testing with the RB's and she ran really well! The track was being very "slick car" bias for some reason and I was only able to get two passes in during my 4hr visit...

Anyways, it was a cool night with a DA of 730 so I don't know if I will get a much better day to run around here.

First pass was 11.7 at 125 just feeling out the car.

Adjusted the tire pressure and launched at 2k in 2nd with better success.
    11.5 @ 126

I would like to think that with a little better 60', I could muster up a 11.3 at 127 on these street tires.

Anyways, big thanks to Terry and Rob for helping me get to this point! Click here to enlarge

Went back again last weekend but it was just to hot and without better tires I don't know if I will better the passes above... I tossed the slips but the times were.
    11.7 at 125 with a 2.0 60'
    11.6 at 126 with a 1.98 60'

    Why even run street tires?

Regardless, you're car is running strong. Props.

At this point I have to agree... I have had a hard time justifying the purchase because I only hit the track a 3-4 times per year. Next trip I will be running some ET streets. Any good deals floating around?

    Thanks BTW

It's worth it no matter how many times you hit the track. When you see the 60 foot difference you will know it's money well spent.

Still, mid 11's on street tires is nothing to scoff at.

You can run N888s and Nt01's on the street. If you do that shenanigans.

Thanks for all of kind replies guys! I wold of responded earlier but had notification turned off for some reason.User fail...

For the RB's, they totally transformed the car and were the best mod that I have done to the car!

For tires, I am currently using Conti DW 265-30-19 out back. I am looking for some ET Streets for my stock 18's but will look at the Toyo R888's as well. Thank you for the advice!

Car went 503/517 on a E60 mix with Meth. For comparison, I made 433/473 on 109 + meth on the stock turbos.
