Just as an FYI... I've driven the F30 3 series... if anyone else has and tells me they like it, they aren't enthusiasts or don't know BMW from the past. This car is somewhat of an atrocity to the brand IMHO. If the new M3 is to be based on that, I have no idea what to think.

BMW should change their "Ultimate Driving Machine" to "Ultimate Money Making Machine".

That's the core of the problem: neither BMW nor the enthusiasts are setting the priorities, the government is. You either play by the governments rules or pay. BMW is choosing to play by governments rules. I don't like it one bit.

    Cheers.

I understand fleet regulations and all that but Chevy makes it work, Dodge makes it work, Porsche makes it work, is it really that BMW can't?
