    went back to the track 2011 135 DCT

    i went back to the track and was able to do a burnout with traction control off in manual mode and managed to lower my 60's but coundn't break 12's yet

    awesome.. its gonna be hard to get lower than that all stock.. maype pull the airfilter top off and let it breathe a bit better?

    Throw on some drag radials. Launch control is almost useless in my experience with street tires on the strip.

    Drag radials + cooler weather = 12's

    StarSpecs are great street tires, if the sidewall wasn't so damn stiff I believe they could be capable of 1.8 - 1.9 60fts. I have lousy launching skills but managed a 2.0 60ft on my N54 135i 6MT on these tires. Drop the pressure on those tires and try again. 12's are definitely possible!

    He has good tires. Same tires I have and I cut 1.76 60 fts on them and 1.8s.

    Get that launch down and you're in the 12s for sure. How exactly did you launch with the DCT?

    you can only launch the DCT with the launch control... wich sucks ass. it holds the revs at 3500-4000 RPM and just dumps the "clutch", so the result is alot of tire spin and 2.0 60 fts. without a linelock kit is going to be hard to get the 60 fts down on street tire. i hope that when someone comes out with a flash for the N55, they get to lower the launch RPM's.

    i did go back to the track but couldn't get good runs. the best i did was 13.0 at 106....with the BMS stage 1 tune

    They won't be able to edit the launch rpm's, that is stored separately in different tables from the engine parameters and no one has control of it yet form what I understand.

    Try this though, click the cruise control stalk forward or backward when engaging launch control. It should adjust your launch RPM, at least that is how it works on mine.

    Sucks it just dumps the clutch, that is odd, on the M3 it modulates. You need some heated drag radials and then you will love launch control.

    Damn, sucks that it just dumps like that. Try what sticky said maybe you can raise and lower the RPM setting.
