    Batch 2 update

First off want to say Happy 4th and thank everyone that participated in our 4th of July promotion it was a success. Got some cool stuff in the mail today. All the Batch 2 parts have arrived including the turbine, and billet compressor wheels. I have included some pictures below, From right to left, stock turbine, Stage 2 batch 1, TD04L(RB), Stage 2 Batch 2 9 blade turbine. The profile we had the 9 blades in are an exact match for the Garrett GTX turbine wheels just in smaller form. This is perfect to go with the GTX wheels as they were engineered to work together. What you will also notice is the "extended tip" design on the compressor wheels. This is the same technology used on the real GTX, and Borg Warner EFR compressor wheels. It extends the tip out past the edge of the wheel for increased airflow. We are getting really excited for these upgrades, we believe they will be THE N54 stage 2 upgrade to have, BAR none, for less than the competition. We are about 60 days out as all that is left is to receive the new flapper order and housing machining. As always thanks for the interest guys.

Those turbine wheels reminds me kamak's, they work pretty good, better spool and top end.

    They have td04h, td05h & td06sl2

The kamaks are similar. But we have ours made custom with a full Garrett profile and our shaft is custom machined to fit the stock bearing housings. But the theory is the same. 9 blade wheels have been proven to increase spool and help remove exhaust gas more efficiently. Which is why everyone has gone to them.

Coming along greaT. Machining is well under way. Parts have arrived sans flappers (lets hope they do not drop the ball like they did last time) and we are looking forward to bimmer fest and showing off the parts. I hope you can make it and check some of them out.

Lol, x3, but good things take time. What happened to all the beta testers and results? Only seen a prelim from jpsimon, and a 503hp dyno from can't remember who. Just curious how hard anyone has pushed them.

Nice! I was hoping to make it but I won't. The wife planned a bday night in atlantic city for me Saturday.

I just drove by the show site tonight and the tents were being set up. It's a good show, you'll meet a lot of customers I'm sure.

I personally watched @rader1 run his vtt 135 at the slipstream dig or roll event last weekend. His car ran great, beating a big turbo b5 s4, beating a new supercharged camaro, and barely barely losing to a e90 ess 600 supercharged m3. If our turbos will be better....get ready, they are going to be sick!

would it also be possible to offer ceramic coating of the turbos as an option?

Hmm, I'd pay for a ceramic coating on the manifold/hot side assuming it didn't void my warranty.

Couple of good articles comparing the GTX style wheels and the standard cast GT style wheels. Worth a read so you know why we went with the billet GTX style wheels.
