I don't know if it is pump there's a picture of the car getting E85 so I don't know what it was tuned on. @BrenM3

I would hope this is on E85 or Bren has a super magical dyno... Either way a 161 WTQ difference from a car that was just baselined with identical mods...

In any case, dyno sheets are becoming the new M5 Board roll races anyways so...Click here to enlarge

They also must be in a constant loop of the exact same time...

I know it's not cool to call out vendors, but I call BS on Bren's dyno numbers. No other tuner is "just" leaving 30-40whp on the table for the fun of it.

It helps that Bren has a 335 and dyno at his disposal. The next best N54 tuners in my opinion are the PTF guys and neither of them are "tuners" by trade, they're both very enthusiastic owners who've turned their passion into a side job.

It's funny that everybody call BS on my 460 WHP Bren tune but @Njz his 469 WHP (after Garth from Undercover fine tuned it) on straight E85 with a JB4 + COBB combo and nobody $#@!es about that Click here to enlarge

I have a Bren tune, actually the same one he runs on his personal 335. We have the same year and software version. I don't know what he did, but his tune is amazing. The throttle response, lack of lag, and overall pulling power of my car after the tune is awesome. He told me he's played around with vanos and some other things that hes found really wake up the n54. He will be tuning my car when my vtt stg2's get installed and I can't wait, it's going to be a beast.

The Stage 2 results with his tune are going to be very interesting to see.

I agree, but I'm only planning on running pump 93, so you won't see the new VTT batch stg2 max numbers from me.

Lol, 469? Yeah, BS on that too

There is no "magic" to tuning. You can only run soon much boost and timing there's only so much to gained from VANOS timing. On stock turbos anything over 425-435 is all in the dyno.

So now we're calling the Undercover Performance dyno a high reading one too? Even though it's shown to be 100% accurate with several different N54 cars all reading very similar stock baseline numbers. I ran 270 WHP/290, Russ's stock E92 M3 ran 348 WHP/249 and I'm sure @undercoverangie can comment on the accuracy of the dyno.

AND back to rader & Stucks -- Even if we'll say Bren's dyno is "high reading", he's still making the gains that nobody else's tunes can replicate. Here's the link to his dyno database for every car he's tuned, including his personal M3 & 335xi (his S1000RR isn't on there): http://www.brentuning.com/dyno-database

Looks good! How about someone with this tune logging VANOS, then the doubters will get their answer.

Most run around 110deg IIRC for exhaust... Retard this in the mid to 5500ish range, I bet you get a little more. Or adv the intake closer to 5.5k. or do both. But I always assumed Cobb did a lot of testing here... maybe not.

Seriously, let's see some datalogs Click here to enlarge
Let me guess: 19psi peak 16psi up top 13-14 timing advance and VANOS tweaks. The same thing everyone on e85 is running. It's like I said, on stock turbos there is only so much air to make power with and the same reason guys running the same fuel with the same mods(regardless of tuner) are within 15hp

Once brens numbers are backed up on a dynojet, they will get my respect. Until then it's just another high reading dyno. It's been proven that even the lack of rolling resistance from dynapac means more horses at the wheels. Peak numbers are generally universal, it's the drivability and deployment of the power where great tuners shine.

I'll be honest I'd like to see him do back to backs pulls with his dyno then a dynojet.
