I never got a true baseline my baseline was dp's, mr5, jb4 g4 15ohm map5. It actually made 387 but I wasnt able to find that sheet. I'm sure I could I was just so darn happy with these I got them up quickly.

High percentages of E85 will give you the same cooling effects as methanol injection. Adding meth will allow you make more power in general because of the cooling effect but saying it will help with that 20 hp more than E85 doesn't add up. The real question is how many people have ran E70+ on stock frames with out meth. Not many because the fuel system usually goes lean requiring a meth bandaid, for nothing else than to add fuel. Once we see more of that this will be more common. PERFECT example that meth is not helping there. Stage 3 freer flowing turbos, reduced back pressure 600 on 91 no meth.
This. It's all about heat, the differences between pure methanol and ethanol are minor. Unless you are also injecting water but that's another story, most people are using trunk mounts with high concentrations of meth to supplement fuel. Regardless of water content it's better to cool in the cylinder anyway unless your tune is removing timing for IAT, which would be a tuning issue in this respect unrelated to the power potential you have available.

On the fuel pump and FFTEC vs Walboro DIY issues, it's mostly installer error. Using the wrong lines, not securing things well, etc. If you are not confident in doing your own install or have a shop that's experienced in custom work (not just parts installers) then I would recommend the FFTEC over the DIY option. Actually that's a lie I'd still recommend the DIY.

Terry, regarding your fuel pressure problems, have you given the FFTEC pump a go? Shiv's customers don't seem to be having issues running high concentrations of E85. Not trying to start a war, but they did do extensive testing before settling on the booster option. I know the consensus here is that it's all a money grab (which may be true, i don't know) but real world success with your DIY has been mixed IMHO.
From what guys have posted it's the same thing and basically why Shiv has to use firehoses to route meth to the engine bay.

On pumps it's just a DIY we posted for the community to run with. Others have put their own twist on it and improved it, etc. I personally wish more people would do the 255 in tank inline and less would do the 455 in tank replacement. Because the in tank inline is not only cheaper but harder to mess up. And more than enough fuel for most until they get in to VT3 turbos, etc. Click here to enlarge
