Wondering if 60/40 with 91 is enough octane to keep from pulling timing. May need 50/50. Someone else might know more than me on this. I'm going with 12.2 with this setup.

Tip is to have the right tires. And those aren't the right tires.

PS2 non runflats that are nice and warm @ ~26psi should do the trick just fine on an auto. I'll give him an 11.8 @120.

It's not a fast track but Friday nights can be fun. Expect maybe 3-4 runs if you hang around until midnight. You should run anywhere from 11.5 to 13.5 with street tires depending on traction and driver skillz. Click here to enlarge

Do the trick versus drag radials he could run? Nope.

Sure with an auto it isn't as big of a liability but runflats are a liability regardless.

What meth add are you going to run? I was running that same setup, except with the BMS flash too. I ran a 70 add and logs were solid until my LPFP started taking a dump because of so much e85. I def think with some good 1.8 60' times in an AT with those mods and a 70 add you should def be 11.5-12.0

don't get discouraged if you see a 12.5 slip though. DA has a lot to do with it, track prep and some launches are better than others. 60' is the key.

My bad but still the biggest part of succeeding at the strip is really traction.

I need to save this post as I think it is the first time Joe has ever admitted to making a mistake!!

    Back on track, just remember:

    1. drive around the burnout box as the water will stay in the grooves of the tyres if you drive through it.
    2. heating up those tyres won't produce a faster time.
    3. if you are going to drop the air pressure for the track that you will need to borrow a compressor before you drive home.

If it's an AT (not a DCT) be sure to also do the kick down blocker and launch in 2nd gear. 1st gear launches are useless with ATs.

When I'm wrong I admit it I think you're confusing admitting errors with holding position in a debate which I believe my positions with you have all been correct. There is a big difference here although you seem to have some preconceived notions regarding me which are incorrect and pretty much always negative. It's unfortunate.

Yes I blocked that last week. That stupid kickdown kept getting in my way.

First time down the strip in an n54 is almost always humbling because of traction. I'll say 12.1 @ 120.

The car will probably have 11's in it but you'll need a 1.8 or so 60ft to get it.
    11.76 @ 124 (123.9) full weight e92 335i, street tires, no meth.

I think you should probably not tell me what to do on my own website and I think if you wanted to keep it on track you should not have said anything in the first place with negative undertones. You feel me?

I was being positive as you admitting to making a mistake shows personal growth. There was no insult intended and the fact you chose to think of this being negative shows your general outlook.

I did a 1.78 and a few 1.8s launching in first on worn out two year old nt05r's.

I wouldn't say first is useless. But I did tap higher the one second gear launch but the sixty suffered due to me not realizing I'd still spin quite a bit launching from 25k rpm
