^^ reasons why i gave up with VW, too many engine names and differences between others in different countries even if they have the same engine name. I know a little bit, like all that stuff up there is still the same from when I was in the vw game. Sucks they still cant modify the HPFP for the TSI or ea888 engine... Oh well at least injectors for that car have been identified. LNF injectors, ford 3.6 ecoboost injectors and Opel injectors will fit, but need tuning. Just a headache of mess.

Why everyone just doesn't copy the BMW, Honda, or Mercedes naming scheme I have no clue.

Audi sucks at this too naming all the 4.0 TFSI V8's the same thing. WTF, why?

Honda engine naming makes perfect sense. BMW's is stupid.

I would prefer a combination of Nissan and Honda where you would have Block Code|Displacement|Engine options|Revision Code that would tell you anything you need to know about it. Honda having the revision on their block makes it really nice to know exactly which block, that was always fun with some nissans not knowing if it was a FWD or RWD block or with toyota engines not knowing if it was an early weaker block or newer stronger.
2008 135i - Cobb AP, JB4 G5 w/2Step&FSB, MS DP's, Berk street exhaust, AMS IC, BMS DCI, ER CP w/Tial BOV, Spec 3+ & Steel FW, CDV delete, Quaife LSD, M3 control arms, M3 rear SF bushings, M3 Trans bushings, SS brake lines. Pics

    BMW is series/model/displacement/submodel

Many years ago, I had a VAG I could use at any time. I still miss it to this day. Sometimes I dream about it.

If I still had it today, it would have a pair of Garrett turbos, Ohlins suspension, and forged BBS wheels with sticky tires. What were you talking about? :p

Something more fun to ride but without the trade in value.

I would suggest extreme caution when even dealing with these guys. I have 2 friends with ms3's and had major issues with the business in general and pump failures. 2 failures on the same car within a few hundred miles of each other.

Also the reason they did not succeed in the vw fsi world is that the vw hpfp is assembled in a clean room. The only other company that does that is APR. every other option within the fsi fails much faster.
