    ***HELP*** N54 2010 exhuast vibratrion

hi, i have a 2010 bmw 335i. I have installed a 2,5inch catless downpipe and supersprint backbox exhuast.

Whenever the car is running in auto, and around 2-3k rpm on moderate acceleration, just as the gear is baouyt to change, i can hear like a horrible sounding vibration which sounds like the exhuast is shaking. sounds like a cheap car. I am running a dinan tune. car sounds fine on full throttle.

can anyone tell me what possibly could be wrong here? does running a catless dp cause this? or is this poor installation work?

    thanks

Check installation. I had an issue on my DPs where they were rubbing against the corner of the tranny I think it was. A slight adjustment of the DP's and there was plenty of clearance.

The other bad rattle spot I found is on the midpipe support.

Just double check everyone and make sure nothings rubbing on the subframe.

I mean good luck I hope you eliminate it and it's an installation issue.

ok just went for another drive - to clarify - the vibration sound occurs AFTER gear shift, which cause the rev to drop slightly... and it only happens from 2-3 and 3-4 gear...

am having it checked this weekend. thank you for your replies
