New to BMW! 2010 335i xDrive

What's up everyone? I've been creepin on the board for a while and just posted my first thread a few days ago...figured I'd do a legit intro lol.

    Le Mans Blue
    2010 BMW 335i xDrive Coupe
    6MT
    M Sport package

Cobb AP on the way...scheduled delivery for tomorrow!Click here to enlarge Tint is likely the next thing I'll do but unlike Florida (I recently moved), Washington state doesn't get enough sun/heat to merit me rushing to get that done lol. Out here it's more for looks.

Trying to decide if i wanna go bolt on or get some wheels/drop her a TINY bit. I mean...it'll all get done, it's just a matter of what I wanna do now vs later. Leaning a lil towards go-fast mods first, then worry about looks...but I guess we'll see.

I got her back in January - traded my 350Z and, even though I was a little torn at first between this and the new 370s, I couldn't be happier with my BMW. Misfires and all! (yeah, starting a few weeks ago I was getting the cylinder 5 misfire...changed the plugs, coil, and swapped the injector with another cylinder. New injector on the way just in case it turns out to be bad)

    Here's a couple pics :-)

Nice car. Yes the tune will definitely transform the car. It's hard to drive a stock 335 after you've driven one with a tune. After you get your bolt on's, get a protune and really wake up the cobb!

    Welcome.

I would ditch those wheels ASAP. I don't know why, but the stock BMW wheels seem to be boat anchors, both the 162 and the 193 styles. Lighter wheels will improve everything (less unsprung mass and inertia). You are looking at 24.7 and 26.3 pounds for the front and rear respectively (18x8 and 18x8.5 inches respectively) with the style 193 wheels. For contrast, something like the Forgeline F14 in an 18x8.5 inch fitment is 18.5 pounds. That saves 28 pounds of rotating, unsprung weight.

Also, the run flat tires are heavier than non-run flat tires, so switching might be worth it for additional weight savings. Make sure you sign up for AAA or carry a spare/fix-a-flat if you take the run flats off Click here to enlarge

    Enjoy your car!

Nice car and get a tune ASAP.!!
My 2010 335xi came with the wood grain trim as well.
I had a shop wrap the trim in carbon fiber and IMHO it looks much better!!
