Pretty cool that someone is modding a 550Xi. That thing moves out with the tune for sure. Can't wait to see more videos, time slips and what nots.

That car would be killer with some built twins and methanol

This OP is one of the biggest jokes I have heard in awhile. First of all my FBO m3 has put a couple bus lengths on a 2012 550i more than 1 time and at rolling races from 20-120 to 60-120. A FBO 335 would be pretty similar as with my setup I put 1-2 cars on a FBO 335 (non-upgraded turbos). So that is just laughable you put 3-5 lengths on him. Your car weighs 4200 pounds and has puts 375 to the wheels. 335 weighs 3500 and puts down the same to the wheels in FBO form. And m3 as well puts down 380 in fbo but weighs 600 pounds less.

And am I delirious or I read that your clk550???? beat m3's? Come on. That is not even something you can pretend to convince people about. A heavier car with less hp and taller gearing makes it literally impossible for it to beat the m3. My oh my are people delusional these days.

A s63 by the way is so superior to a tuned n63. Look at a dyno. The tuned s63 makes a wave of torque but slams into a wall and crumples at 5k rpms. Might as well get a diesel

Here comes captain m3 to the rescue once again !!! ;p just busting ya balls

Good points just one thing id like to point out the OP has a newer 550xi with the 8 speed auto so the gearing is prob not much taller than an m3 or maybe shorter ! I'm sure the individual gear ratios are shorter on the 8 speed but it probably has a considerably taller final drive ratio but you can see in the vid 1st gear end at around 40mph at around 6.5k rpm and 2nd gear is crazy short as the revs only drop about 1000rpm and it shifts again before 60 !

Also good point on the n63 making big torque but falling on its face on the top end. I had an x6 5.0 before my c63 and it was tuned. it def had a good amount of low/mid range torque with the tune but would completely fall on its face around 4500-5000 rpm and the dynos prove this so id have a hard time believing it can keep up with an m3 never mind a fbo m3 on the top end where the s65 shines and keeps making power.

Those races are by floyd benit field. If you want I have a 750 with a bms tune I ran a 550 RWD with a bms tune and we were dead even. Coming from a FBO 535 and a 131 N54 I highly doubt we would even keep up

Shows how much you know about the 550i xdrive 1st of all the car is 4500 LBS 2nd of all you keep forgetting about the TQ this car has 387 WHP stock and 448WTQ thats plenty to move the weight.

The FBO car i ran was not a fast one so your argument should end there and anyone elsses, after that ive ran 2 very fast FBO 335i's to one i lost by 4-5 cars from 60 roll, 2nd one i lost by 1 car from 20 roll, 3-4 from 60 roll, and beat it by as many from digg.

Now i have not ran a stock M3 yet in the 550i but would love to do it soon.
Now wait when my 550i is FBO and then we will see what this car is capable off.

The 387 WHP the 550xi car put down were those number obtained from a particular type of dyno and what mods do you currently have besides a tune?

The published manufacturer stock numbers for the 550xi (Power (SAE): 400 hp @ 5,500 rpm; 450 ft lb of torque @ 1,750 rpm
