I think a 750 whp E92 M3 can go head to head with a 850 whp E46 M3 with the help of DCT.

DCT will shift like an animal whereas E46 M3 will shift slow and loose boost pressure during each shift.

E92 DCT will not loose boost pressure during gear shifts and will keep on accelerating.

E46 M3 will loose pace at each shift.

Sticky is your DCT modified and finished? Enjoy it boss.

I've been watching the thread on E46fanatics about my car and @ZooyorQ keeps responding yet is ducking me here.

And I wonder why @Commanderwiggin is talking smack?

Kenton, you wrote hold your tits? I'm curious, is that why your shirt was so tight on you as apparently it was designed to hold yours in place?

Oh well, looks like we'll need some other E46 M3 owners to do a comparison video for BimmerBoost as these guys aren't game.

I don't know what to tell you. Other than I know who that is.

I could just ask Tim to unban me I suppose so he doesn't get in the middle of anything or these guys could come face me here.

I want to make a video comparison for this site not just a quick run video. People seem to be thinking this is some win or die thing.

    I mean doing the works.

Whatever, I'll find someone to participate. I'm not going to support Shift-Sector.

It would be good race, for sure. So many variables in play, do I miss a shift? Does the DCT hold? Do I lose traction?

My car on low boost (18lbs) does 840rwhp or so and 625rwtq.. had an issue with a shim, pulled the motor to resolve the shim/retainer problem, putting it back in in a week or two. Been busy. Kenton's car makes more power than mine, I believe he does about 900rwhp and 700rwtq at 25lbs. Or thats what his dyno was this morning iirc... and he flat shifts that $#@!.. its fast... very fast.

Oh there you are... about time.

Anyway, I'm not sure how much high boost for you is but whatever that is sounds good. Just let me know when you have time as I said I will not be attending Shift Sector.

I only have time for an event or two a year, and generally I make that event shift-s3ctor. So if you can't make it there i'm not sure where you intend to race me.

Last Shift S3ctor I was running about 800rwhp@600rwtq. Yesterday's dyno tuning session was very nice indeed and I managed to get it to hook on some fresh asphalt in 3rd yesterday, never felt so awesome. E85 is amazing stuff. And still very conservative AFR's of 10.5 under full boost.

    Hahahah!

Ok I'll come even closer. How about rather than an event we do our own comparison? Videos of how the cars drive, dyno time, exterior/interior videos, something a little more in depth to give the true idea of how a turbo E46 and supercharged E92 M3 compare?

I mean a pull doesn't show the completely picture. Driveability, fun factor, etc. I think we can make this good but you seem to be fighting it.

I find it funny you don't have a problem with others blatantly trying to piss all over what is a great achievement. Instead of saying congrats they bitterly hate.

I don't give a damn if you want or do not want to be associated. I simply wanted to beat you down in particular. That's fine, there are other cars and I don't support Shift-Sector as I said as I'm not going to support people putting me or my car down constantly out of bitter hatred and jealousy.

No it's a different topic between him and I.

Regardless, I appreciate any compliment. Oh well, trying to do this comparison won't be easy.

    Sticky,

For me, the only comparison that counts is the one I make between what my expectations are, and what the actual result is. Comparing cars, where the expectations of of the owners is vastly different, isn't going to provide the data points you claim to be looking for. An innovative car build will defend itself, and doesn't need to be promoted to garner respect. Although some enthusiasts think differently...

I have been constantly disappointed looking for public validation of efforts with my own projects. Thankfully, I gain most of my enjoyment from doing the actual work, or driving.

Lets help you work on your people skills. Instead of saying this, sticky should have said, "aw man it would be a lot of fun". A lot of us here would love to see two nasty m3's going at it. But ignorance will not get any of closer. You do support shift sector, every article and every mandatory thread (1) you make shows your support. You may not attend them, but you really should more so as a business venture. Get bimmer boost out there regardless if you run or not.

Sure, you have a lot to prove because of how long it has been and are finally seeing excellent results, but you're coming off like jrcart and the other superdooper c63 bs guy. Don't get carried away.

You have to actually drive your car first to know if it can perform.. With 700whp+ you're going to be dealing with a lot more factors than you think (wheelspin, drivetrain stress, tuning). These E46 guys have been sitting on their builds a lot longer and are use to the power and had time to address tuning. I would put money on a turbo m3 that has had its time to address all its issues and the driver that has had time in his seat. Good luck to you Sticky, I know JRCART still wants a shot at your car.

Sticky man, what the hell. Coming off a little brash here.

BTW, why the no love for E36's? Too wide power bands capable at mid 700whp levels and too much torque? JJ. Personally, I'd have my money all over a 700whp m3 with a proper turbo sizing. I think Luke who ran the texas mile awhile back with his CES/Max psi setup would be the race for you in an E36.
