I can speak of 3 800+whp M3s within an hour drive of me. I don't know if they are on here. And there are also a bunch running around on e46fanatics. But like I said, I don't know if they are on here either.

Yea, that blower would work in his favor.. But all it takes is good traction and lets say some good brake boosting, and that e46 M3 will catch and pull strong to redline.

I definitely don't think its a matter of you being scared.. I'm sure the next airstrip event will bring a bunch of E46 M3s out. All I'm saying is you're down on power, up on weight, they have turbos with better torque curves, so I'd guess they have the advantage. Especially if the race is a longer distance.

If I had to put my money down today I would give the nod to both Marcus and Kenton's Turbo 46Ms. That may change if the 900rwhp/600rwtq barrier is attainable with the DCT holding. That would be a pretty tight race considering the 46M both have a weight and area under the curve advantage.

It will be fun to see these cars run regardless of the outcome or circumstances.

I remember saying it was a long story as I didn't even see my car at that point or know it was at the show. Then you talked to Mike which is fine it was a busy booth.

I prefer to do this is as an in depth comparison between two cars for the site. I also plan to do my own air strip events.

I'm not down on power, not sure why you are coming to that conclusion, and the weight difference is minimal. The DCT gives me a huge advantage. The E92 M3 has shown itself to be the superior straightline car per whp at this point. I mean just look at the 1/4 mile times. 575 whp can get you to hit 130 mph of trap speed in the E46 M3 it takes a turbo and a bit more power. So that torque they talk about is meaningless in practice as it's all about HP on the top end as you aren't spending your time at lower revs. I'm not concerned like I said and believe you are incorrect but this is why the race will be fun.

The longer the distance means what? Especially when I'm not down on power? I don't see why it would favor one side.

I'm not sure what Kenton's car is putting down.

Marcus is at 800 something? That sounds fine to me. If there is anything stronger I'm fine with that as well.

How are you not? You're making 775 and iirc, Marcus is at 830+. Add the factor of your power dropping off at around 7500rpm, I think you are definitely down on power.

323tom on e46fanatics. Beast of a build dealing with a VANOS issue currently. Lifted the head with nitrous at or near 1000whp a while back. Car is at SP still I believe getting buttoned up.

That's awesome, badass. Want to run boost versus boost obviously.

I think Marcus may be down, we'll see. I'd like to run him, he's my choice.

His power isn't dropping off. He said it plenty of times that the clutch is slipping. Still has another 1000 rpm to go.

I see... But how about address the clutch issue and then ask for a race!

I'm just trying to see who we have here for E46 M3's. Nothing wrong with that.

I would love to see that race too. If rwhp are the same I would say it would be close, but I'm going to bet that the e46 turbo will edge out sticky's car. E46 has weight advantage and probably is producing way more torque than sticky's car. Sticky's advantage is the fact he is dct and just has to floor it and tap the +, less driver error.

I understand your perspective but in all honesty at equal HP the DCT E92 M3 will win every time. That's how I feel but let's put it to the test. Still waiting on @ZooyorQ to respond as he thinks he will win so that will make it all the more fun.

My assumption is just my guess of what would happen in a perfect world. Here is an example of driver error. . The E46 is going to have to be on his game to beat u, that's for sure.
