The motor build is a difficult part of the setup depending on how far you want to go. Almost anyone can do a ~14 psi setup. It's when you go big that it separates the men from the boys.
Are there any high psi pulls with a YSI blower on a 6 speed tranny?

Here's the old thread (from this site): http://www.bimmerboost.com/showthrea...hlight=gintani

    The blue car is Eugene (tightie's) old E92 M3 6MT Gintani Stage 3 using a T-Trim Vortech @ 12.5 psi. The video car (I believe) is a Gintani Shop E90 6MT, running the YSI @ 16.5 psi

I'm sorry, where is the request again? Who has ever been denied a name change request? Why did you operate under the premise of being somebody else?

Yes, my board and my rules which you are violating.

Well the holidays and new year delayed things obviously.

There isn't much left to do. The car has already shown plenty. I'll do whatever I think is best.

No I think we have everything squared away now it's just a matter of finishing the work and making sure everything plays nice.

Sticky doesn't think any N54 will be in his league. And if his car stays together he should be right. No N54 has made over mid 700 rwhp and that's with a manual 6 speed trans. The N54 would need about the same power or more and weigh less.

I could see that using a 135i, weight savings, built motor and high boost. So we will have to see. I'm sure some one will have that built by this spring.

Yeah I highly doubt any N54 will come close to stickys car without making more power and being lighter... It will be awhile.

I doubt it will be as long as some may think. I should be pushing around 700rw myself on a 6AT in the next few weeks. I have a spare trans in my garage just in case it doesn't last very long with additional cooling and the Alpina flash.

My car is almost complete as well. But I highly doubt any N54 will be close to stickys car right now. Look what his car was trapping at the last air strip. I am aiming for 800whp on my build which is higher than any other build right now for a n54 and my car weighs 3350lbs.

Once a trans upgrade is found I'm sure it will be a different story. 700 RWHP is a lot for any car but to come close to Sticky I'm sure the N54 will need 1000+ RWHP.
