If you can think of faster BMW's you let me know.

What you have listed in your sig won't cut it.

See you there. And you'll never beat me with a BMW. Any idiot can build a fast POS.

I have no doubt that your Mtree is fast. NO doubt.
I just like screwing around with other fast cars!
Think about it.... supercharged E92 vs. Turbo 36..... a slight advantage in power over lighter weight.... DTC vs. manual.... turbo vs. supercharger..... just sounds fun Click here to enlarge

i want alex's $#@!ing car so badly its incredibly sad that the bs with my car took place because i woulda traded the damn thing in for a suv for the wife took her 325xi to DD and bought that fn beast

why anyone just throwing a blower on there e9x m3 doesnt buy his car for fun and leave the M alone is beyond me. Similar price gets you a gem of a e36 with a motor built by someone who obv takes serious pride in his business and cars built my himself for himself.

but a sc e92 bolted on really isnt FAST when you spend 18k, its quick for sure not all hit 10s like the top examples but now you have no warranty and an expensive car to fix/de-mod and i bet its a lot of those guys DDs so when it breaks theyre out a car .... if you want a FAST bmw his car is the cheapest route possible to a near finished (arguably already finished) BMW that will annihilate 99% of the cars on the road with ease.

You bolt on an SC and can run 10's. It's been done without launch control and they have run 10.6. Plus, nobody is launching on the street anyway but that power is there from a roll anytime you want it. It's very reliably the problem is when you get greedy or launch everywhere you go.

It just depends if you want a race car or all in one. Different strokes for different people. I'd have 50 cars if I could afford it.

This car is going to be amazing when it's done.... but watching the slow progress makes me want to order a 6MT M4 instead of a DCT.

    Until you race a DCT.

Is manual easier? Would it be done? Yes to both of these. But upgrading a manual doesn't push the platform. People should be saying thank you and awesome instead of oh its taking too long. It isn't anyone's time or money but my own.

I said it was going to be amazing... how much more do I need to stroke your ego? You don't think your motor setup in a MT wouldn't push the platform as well?

My point is, I can't afford for my car to sit in a garage for 3 years while someone figures out the new DCT. I'm glad there are people who can.

Whoa there bro a little sensitive this morning? I wasn't calling you out specifically I was speaking generally.

Of course it would push the motor and platform but I'm the DCT is the quickest option and that trans is the future of performance modding.

Everyone is a bit too jumpy lately.

It's a project car. A toy. It isn't my transportation so it's just a fun project ultimately designed to benefit the forum and well, spank some people who ran their mouths too. It's all ultimately in good fun and for the benefit of BMW modding. I wish others pushed BMW's this far to show what they were capable of but instead most people try to drag down those who do. It's like this with almost anything in life though.

A car like his, while awesome and insanely fast, isn't even close to as reliable as a stock motor supercharged e92 m3. He can wrench on the car himself, he built it, but if I bought his car I wouldn't have a clue how to maintain it. You would have to have a really good Indy shop local and I'm pretty sure, at the current power it makes, you couldn't take this car on long trips or anywhere without worrying about e85, race fuel, etc. His e36 m3 is a weekend toy and is tuned to the near max potential of the platform.

That being said, it is a awesome car with a lot of money and effort put into it that a new buyer would benefit from.

I have a hard time thinking the engine in my car isnt as reliable as a newer forced induction engine. Maintain it? change the oil and spark plugs Click here to enlarge
you just have to feed it E85 everywhere. It doesn't run on race fuel.
