    Bimmerboost's BMW 1/4 mile, Vbox 60-130, and Standing Mile list

    To add your time to the list, post in this thread with the same format used as the entries

    When comparing/analyzing the below information, please keep in mind that weather, track conditions and the driver can all play a significant role in the results.

    For those that don't follow 1/4 mile drag racing; E.T. (Elapsed Time) is primarily a derivative of the launch, while Trap Speed (MPH achieved at the end of the run) is primarily a derivative of the amount of power being put to the ground on that specific track, that specific day. Trap Speed can be used tell you almost exactly how much hp your car is making at the wheels, assuming you use the correct calculations.

    1/4 Mile entries will require an official time slip, a GPS performance unit can not be used to measure this result.

    I ran the Nitto's 555R - 285-35-18 for the 11.24 run but I also run the M/T drag radials 265-40-18. With excess power you will want to run the M/T's.

    i just ran than nitto 555r in the same size...and my car was lighting them up in first and 2nd. couldnt get good times

    Depends on the car and what tires, but for us I'd say, 1.8.x-16.x. DadC63's 60' is unreal!! The general rule of thumb is, for every .1 you shave off your 60', you shave .2 off your ET.
