    Well Mustang dynos differ quite a bit as well from what I've seen.

    The guy who just reviewed his AA Level III showed a before after dyno on a mustang with a lower baseline (similar range) but wheel hp with the blower at 527 which is a rather large difference.

    I'll be honest I was expecting higher numbers here for the VF-620.

    VAC's mustang reads really low trust me i had my car dynoed on that dyno with the 8550 blower. That car is right around 530-540 on a DJ by my guess.

    I don't doubt it by the baseline it definitely reads low but we have two low reading baselines from both Mustang dynos so I would venture to guess they read similar.

    Haha, I was waiting for this thread ;-) This car has stock exhaust, stock pulleys, no tricks.

    Based on our experience this car would probably put down another 10hp or so after being driven a it - exactly where it needs to be.

    If I have time I will dig up Akash's sheet and a ESS car that was on the dyno last year. (both had full exhaust and one has meth tho)

    I also have our client's E92M3 track car on our Mustang then on a Dynojet (made 379hp! with exhaust and AA tune). That is a shocking difference Click here to enlarge

    Mustang dyno's read lower than a DynoJet always have and always will... Folks need to understand that depending on the setting on a DynoJet that they can read 13-18% higher than a Mustang setup. This car would make 523-536whp on a DynoJet. IMO thats a strong car and that number is pretty good.

    Mike what does the vf kit redline at? I notice it only goes to 8k but the line looks like it isn't slowing down at all.

    An ESS 625 kit made about the same power with Akrapovic exhaust on our dyno.

    I included the stock run to help people understand that some dynos simply read lower.

    not to mention stock exhaust a known 20-30hp (DJ) increase

    An ESS 625 kit made about the same power with Akrapovic exhaust on our dyno.

    I included the stock run to help people understand that some dynos simply read lower.

    I would think the baseline dyno would read lower as well on a mustang dyno
    I think i have seen many stock car basline dyno to avg around 320-340whp (on dynojet)
    Maybe i am mistaken

    Difference sometimes with mustangs is you are either defeating the traction and running it RWD OR, running it with traction on in AWD mode - making two difference drivetrain losses.

    FWIW, we use a completely uncorrected Mustang AWD 1100 occasionally. They are painful. SEEN a high of 500-520 on ESS650 kit with 315whp baselines

    Who cares about dyno numbers! Let's see 1/4 mile trap numbers. That will tell you about how much power the car is making. People obsess about dyno numbers IMO.
