With all due respect, the racing in F1 has been artificial for quite some time, at least when compared to the seasons of the '90s or even early 2000's. The move to spec ECU, frozen engine development, single tire suppliers, DRS zones, KERS, double diffuser, banned double diffuser, reinstated double diffuser, etc, etc; all of these have taken away something from the sport. In the end, it's the same drivers and teams that dominate each season with a couple of exceptions. And now to make things more exciting, we have tires that chunk off after 2 laps.

Glad to see at least Pirelli is taking steps to make things better.

Totally agree, it went from an all out battle to build the best car to "here's what you are allowed to build, make the best of it".
This year is even worse though.

What would make it better, in your opinion?

Bring back refuelling, 2 tyre suppliers and lift the freeze on engine development.

Next year we all start again as we move to 1.6 litre V6 cars with extra KERS and a 125,000 rpm turbo charger, should be quite interesting!

    There's no refueling?

Two tire suppliers makes sense. If not more, should be who makes the best tire really.

No mate the cars these days have to start with enough fuel to finish the race.
