    line lock kit

Has anyone here installed one? I went to the track last night and was pleasantly surprised. Now I need more. I was thinking about going to summit and ordering one, though I'm sure being a BMW I'm going to need some special fitting. I haven't taken a look yet but will tomorrow. With some MT et street radials this car should fly!

@ar design has one, works well. Order it up, you'll be glad you did.

I saw the AR one, but 400 for one is a bit much. I've used them before from summit and they are pretty much universal. Just have to find the proper fittings which could be a PITA. Maybe i'll put up a DIY when I get done with it.

I was always curious if we could some how use the anti-roll back feature Via piggyback. Not sure if it holds the front brakes or the rear though. @Terry@BMS

That is a GREAT idea. Wheel button to turn on and off... only turn it on with the clutch pushed in... anti-roll back is not very strong but with wet tires it might work just right.

Exact thought I had, would need to be the left button's so you could shift into 2nd if needed.

I've had one on my car for 2.5 years now and I simply won't go drag racing without one. Highly highly recommended for anyone serious enough about drag racing and should be standard equipment for that sort of racing along with rear axles and a diff lockdown kit

Having had great success with it and no issues ever we decided a while back to carry it:

Its not cheap but its a full kit with proper lines for your brakes. Anything can be done as DIY obviously and cheaper. The savings are in time spent. This is basically a bolton.

We have the AR kits in stock. Ran it on our 10sec E92 M3 - no drama. No sense trying to sort it yourself unless you are bored - buying the kit is easy and effective.

Yeah, I was going to do the same. A while back I saw sourcing the parts from summit/jegs a s figured it could be done for under $200, but never got around to it. The same turn key kit for a domestic is roughly $120 FWIW.

But it's also proven to work on this platform and nobody else has introduced anything to compete with it. I like going with what works and it works.

Agreed, however all you need is the universal kit and the fittings (which you can get with a SS line kit). I was just too lazy and never got around to trying. For $300 I'd buy the kit. $400, I'd just assume have fun with a little $150 project. Worst case I throw those parts away, keep the SS lines and buy the OTS $400 kit later.

+1 GREAT idea! I'd buy a JB4, even if I only used it for that.

Will AR's line lock kit work on an E46 as well, or is it designed to fit any bmw?
