    JB3 and different ohm resisters

Just wondering what to expect from switching from stock 24ohm to 18 or 15 ohm?

That is for more advanced users who want to unlock the duty cycle limit built in to the JB3. Details here:

I read it all but was thinking what would be your opinion if i am planning on do JB3, AR kittyless DP, and BMS DCI.
I plan to run map 5 daily and map 7 on street runs. I only plan on hitting the 1/4 strip maybe 2 times a year, and will be running race fuel on those days and up the map to 8 or 9.
Do you think its worth it to do the 18 ohm resister with what i've said above?

Seems to be more geared towards full bolt-on, meth and up
users. I think you'll be perfectly content with what you've got. It's the same as my daily setup and I run map 7 all the time. Enjoy!

Would it be ok just to have the 18 ohm incase in the future i plan to do meth? I also plan to run race gas once in awhile, wouldn't the 18 ohm help that too?

I don't know exactly how much boost i want to push but i would say i want enough power to possibly run low 12's in 1/4 mile on street tires. I just saw this and was amazed and this guy lives around my area and is running a 15 ohm with only JB3 and BMS DCI.

I ran a 12.34 on a smoking hot day with race gas and my sig mods. That was also several generations of jb3 ago and with a 6mt. I think you'll be just fine. It's all in the launch anyways! Click here to enlarge

That's me, the 12.3@113 was using the 24ohm board. Sounds like it's more than enough for your needs.

I have the same mods..... I went with the 18 ohm board. It wasn't necessary but I did it anyway.... Terry said I might want to try it after seeing my boost logs.

Oh, I added meth too.... running map 8 and 9 with good timing curves. I see the 15 and now 12 ohm resistors. The newest ones look better in the board if that means anything.....
