I cant see any VTT info, the stuff that's posted, and then the stuff that's NOT posted, so this is more of a general brainstorming session of what USERS would do.

Car will DEFINITELY see the drag strip, but its main focus will be attempting to hunt down the infamous and elusive GTR's..

    Thank you

oh wow i thought people were joking

i never really believed they'd be major pioneers for the N54... but they were the preeminent players in the E46 M3 FI game for many years... i've heard many good things and many bad things about them over the years, but this is nothing but a huge loss imo Click here to enlarge

him making a solid product does not limit me from calling him a crybaby for crying when asked for information. if he chooses to not sell a kit to my brother, thats fine. 1. he cant actually do that as there is no way to eliminate a "straw purchase"
and 2. given #1, it would only mean the manufacturer of said product would never be publicly recognized if/when positive performance metrics are obtained

Yeah I've seen it now. I just don't check the front page often and mainly focus on the n54 section which is where I first read about it on e90. Sad day for all BMW owners

The GermanBoost.com front page will keep you up to date on basically everything. I highly recommend it.

I have driven a friends S5 and it is not a fun car to drive, it understears like a volvo and is way to nose heavy to ever become something you want to turn into a corner at speed. Interior is nice (nicer than the 335's at least) and it looks good.

@Sticky I am certain you could make money by selling reps, but they shouldnt count towards rep power (then someone would seriously abuse the system)

I've ridden in one, and the owner exclaimed the same thing about it. Understeers like a Toyota he said Click here to enlarge

I'm actually shopping now. I hear the Hawk Ceramics are very low dust but just don't have the initial bite as well as OEM. Considering I think the initial bite on new pads is a tad too touchy anyway...

I'm still not sure. The brake dust on this car pisses me off though. Fresh wash and 2 days later the rims look like I just got back from Sebring.

It didn't do too bad on fastestlaps.com, esp vs the 335, but I wouldn't track either of these two cars anyways. My 11 335xi isn't exactly a GT3 either. I like BMW more as a brand and the financing is a ton better vs Audi, but I'm going to give both of these cars a good look when my 11's lease is up in the fall. A $3k N55 turbo upgrade and Cobb ATR could definitely sway me...

Drives me nuts. I'd love to see anonymous rep'ing done away with. The Internet is already full of keyboard tough guys, why let them hide even more? Plus, I bet a lot more positive reps are given out anyway - no reason to not know who is liking your comments.

Because then people would be afraid to neg-rep their friends.

I might allow people to spend rep points to see who voted. Might be a good way to take points out of the economy.

there is no "goal" per se. if 700 is manageable longterm, then thats great. the idea is to max it out stock motor while he owns it, then all out after that once i do.
