    Maybe it's due to the higher redline software here?
    That was one of our concerns, but the problem completely disappears as soon as i dismount the dr's and throw my street wheel/tire on.

    But did you try the drag radials with the OEM software back?

    The drag radials he is using are over 5% larger in rolling diameter. DCT uses speed for some calculations. That is what is causing the issue.

    News to me... I went to shorter gears and the DCT still worked completely fine and that was way more than a 5% change.

    Are you sure it isn't the ESS software logic that is using MPH for some calculations? Easy to solve this would be flash to stock software and see if it still happens. I would bet it won't.

    If that's the case, how come everybody else who's strapped some DR's on their DCT 335/M3s have never had this issue? Figured this would've been a more common, well known problem (especially since the E9x M3 DCT's been out since '07 and this is the 1st I've ever heard of this)

    Exactly. Once again, I think it's the logic of the software flash causing this. My car had not a single problem with shorter gears or even drag radials with shorter gears.
