    Dyno run, ESS 625

Finally got the kit strapped in and put on rollers. Outside of the ESS kit, running a AR Design resonated x-pipe into an AR Design oem exhaust mod.

Happy with numbers, considering we are at 6000ft elevation.

Numbers are STD corrected. This is before and after blower install. Peak boost was 6psi, 91 oct.

The tune that came with the ESS 625 kit. I want to swap the pulley and re-tune since im at 6000ft altitude, but Roman over at ESS wasn't having it unfortunately. =( Would love to throw a 8# pulley in there.

Have Evolve retune it, it'll not only be better suited for the elevation, but you'll probably also get a lot more ponies on a safer, non-generic tune. I listened to a vid clip of that AR Design X-Pipe and it's the tits

He wont do it. ESS is already running way too lean and random pulley sizes, so there is no way to know what each s65 kit is doing, in that regard its too risky.

OP, the numbers look good, boost is down a bit, but at 6k ft, its expected, probably a few more psi in there as well as another 15-20hp to match- unless your an ESS/M3post fanboy, and then your way off and should be over 600hp at 7.5 psiClick here to enlarge

Nice before and after, your baseline looks strong for Denver. Was it completely stock?

it's SAE corrected though so the altitude is already factored in, i would imagine the uncorrected #'s would be somewhat lower.

Car looks great btw. How come the stock run is hitting the fuel cutoff at around 8200 RPM and the S/C run at 8500?

Haha I like the ESS kit and i frequent M3Post, but i hold no prejudice between one forum or another. Both offer good info.

Honestly, no idea. Whatever Finishline had it set to.

Negative. Bone stock numbers up here were 309hp. The before here was a drop in filter and Catless AR Design X-pipe w/ AR Design OEM exhaust mod.

Good numbers. Out of curiosity, why do the HP numbers go up and down so much after 7k RPM but before that the graph stays nice? Is it a fuel concern, or just the dyno not keeping up propertly?
