    Remote tuning

Other than evolve, does anyone else offer remote tuning? I am on a somewhat tight schedule so sending my dime in is somewhat out of question. Does anyone else offer remote tuning? I have pm'd evolve but just in case they do not get in touch with me.

Evolve, Epic, ESS, and a couple of others IIRC all offer tuning cables so you can flash your car at home.

I'd go with Evolve. But then again I'm biased Click here to enlarge

    Evolve or Epic.

You don't want ESS playing with your S54. I blew over $2000 on piss-poor tunes (and customer service) for my S54 with ESS and it never ran right and I paid a lot out of pocket to get it to pass smog due to the infallible AJ.

EDIT: Sal@evolve was on vacation last week when he emailed me. Give him some time to return and he will take care of you.

Thanks. The only 2 options I have chosen were evolve and epic. I don't have enough time to send my ecu to bimmer world so evolve it is. I don't trust any of the other companies either.

EVOLVE FTW! Their tune comes with the EVOLVE-R cable that you can use for reading codes etc too.

Epic is Bimmerworld. Epic, from what I have seen, has made the most NA power with the S54 platform. I have just recently began looking into Evolve and have finally decided I would rather not ship out my DME to Bimmerworld since the turn around time would take a few more extra days which I do not have.

How much power did they make?

Epic also offers a cable. You have to buy it separately but it's there. In my experience, the Epic tune makes a tiny bit more power up top while the Evolve tune has more punch all around.

That's how I felt between the two anyways.

I have Evolve. Mostly because of the awesome service I get from them. And I don't feel like I sacrificed anything in doing so.

That's not to discount Epic. I hear great things. But I can swear by Evolve.

I know I will be happy with my choice as well. Thank you for your input. Do you happen to have any data showing any kind of difference in the tunes? Track data, 60-130's? Anything?

Between Epic and Evolve or between stock and Evolve?

I don't really go to the track anymore. I've been busy doing other stuff and I'm not much of a 60-130 person. Can't be bothered.

The only data I have of any kind are datalogs I have on my other computer from just making sure the car is running well.
