    The tuning is much easier on a centrifugal as the boost ramps in with RPM.

    Anyway I was in Drew's car monitoring things on Sunday and I just wish he was 100% as he perhaps could have made it a little closer. His AFRs were 10.9 to 11.2 and was only boosting 9-11psi. His car was hesitating a bit as well so he has some stuff to work on for the next event. Hopefully he can get everything taken care us soon.

    Excellent points, the car has ran faster no doubt, just didn't that day, it's how it goes sometimes, those guys deserve big props for their work, those cars are very fast, especially for just a bolt on blower.

    Here is a novel concept, we can do a breakfast at my trailer sat am. Will have ice coolers, 32x12 tent and BBQ. No fee for breakfast as will be on me but will collect donations for a charity...Ronald McDonald house. Jake can hold the donation box as I would not trust myself.Thoughts?

    It's easier to just bolt-on & tune, especially off a stock DME. There's also a lot more parts that need to be packaged with a turbo setup (intercooler system, turbo placement, new exhaust manifold with BOV), and then all the tuning headaches.

    Like sticky said, everything is more linear in a S/C setup, making tuning it on the STOCK dme significantly easier. People are all concerned about what can/cannot fit on the e92 m3.. that's not the problem.. the problem is the engine management..

    Two approaches, trick the stock dme in combination with some user configurable can control.. or replicate the can and run on a standalone that supports user configurable can.. first option can lead to strange behavior on occasion as you're doing all sorts of trickery and isn't ideal.. that's not to say it can't be done as that's been a pretty common approach for years, the second option is ideal but VERY time consuming.
