Another Active Autowerke Level III supercharged M3

This is the guy who had all those miles on his car I think? Guess he decided to go built motor and it's nice to see more people building S65's:

We will be starting our 2nd Gen 2 Lev 3 upgrade in 4 weeks. Also replacing rod bearings as a maintenance procedure. We will post pics of the condition of the old bearings. To an un trained eye these bearings can look worse than they really are but it is piece of mind adding this service to your SC maintenance list.

When would you guys suggest replacing the bearings? Have almost 25k supercharged miles. No track time and apparently first 12k miles were driven verrrry lightly. Since then its been 90% commuting so not even getting to the high rpms most days. Probably 50 dyno runs though. Any guesstimate on cost of the bearing and install? It doesn't sound too bad and probably a nice piece of mind. Just trying to see if I should get on it sooner than later especially now that I'm running the level 3 kit. Your input is much appreciated!

I'm sure VCM will chime in, as he'll be doing mine in a little while and has looked in to it already.

I think you nailed it with sooner rather later. There is no real set mileage it depends on usage.
