2014 BMW F33 435i convertible rendered with folding hardtop - Sexy?

The new 4-Series in production form for the F32 coupe has been posted thanks to leaks which has led to production based renderings of the upcoming F33 convertible/cabriolet version. The F33 convertible is going to come four months after the F32 coupe with production scheduled to start in November of this year. Unlike the F32 the F33 will be available only in rear wheel drive form for the 428i and 435i, no X-drive all wheel drive.

The renderings below of what would be a production 435i cabrio look beautiful. The 4-Series does look good with the top dropped. This appears fairly close to the real deal but the front bumper LED's may be missing the mark as they seem to just be copying the 4-Series concept car. The rear is likely spot on.

The question becomes, how much weight will the folding hardtop add to the 4-Series? If BMW can keep it down without the large increase the previous generation E93 saw with the folding top this looks to be a winner. Picture renderings below.

Not too bad, and the rear diffuser is back to normal.

It's a good rendering but the front bumper is wrong I think.

    yeah that's pretty sexy

the E93 suffered the drop-top volvo look to me - it looked like a bathtub, with teh top down the line was dead straight

this looks interesting from a side perspective still

and with teh hard top up, you can hardly tell!

Looks great! Is that the production side vent? If so, it looks pretty good.

Hopefully they offer the headlights as an option or maybe LCI? They change the car...

Let's hope it doesn't turn into a pig. Looks great, though.
