that sucks i was really hopping for them to be pushed maybe another 20whp
RBs have achieved 550whp with high boost only (w/ upgraded TMAP sensor). Consecutively, you can do a short run in Mexico, but the generated heat will kill the power in any longer bursts.

That works for a single gear pull but won't live long like that. Probably why they are no longer on that specific car. Click here to enlarge

depends on how much time you want to invest. If i wasnt a huge HP junky, the RBs are perfect for a 335 sleeper, its comfortable enough to DD, and with RBs powerful enough to be hella fun.
pushing a 35 past 500hp gets pretty expensive pretty fast. remember, my 335 was faster than my M, and equal on pump/meth and with tuning strategy from over a year ago.. its very potent setup and if i could i would DD an RB 6MT 335XI and keep a blown M for my weekend warrior.

So ive been looking around for what i think is the best/ just what makes the most sense for the money turbo option. I realize the more hp you want the money needed will be exponential and at the moment im really just waiting for a decently priced single manifold to come out as i think that will fit my power goals the best. In the mean time ive been looking at getting rbs or vargas stg2's. I took 2 of Terry's dynos both on e85 one on rbs and one on stockers and overlayed them
    http://www.PorscheBoost.com/images/i.../fksCWPQ-1.jpg

so they are just about even until 5000rpm where the rbs pull away and make 50 more whp with no meth.

How much faster does an rb car feel than a stock car? Has any rb car raced a stock turbo car with the same mods and how hard did you pull?
Where's the stock torque curve though?

Huge difference in my opinion, as others have already stated. I went from FBO with Meth, to FBO+RB's with meth and it's a really nice upgrade and well worth it. A nice sleeper that I drive as a weekend car.

Really not interested in going for more, as the suspension, clutch, axles, added maintenance, and kit price just don't appeal to me. I can completely understand why people go for a big single or big twin upgrade, just not in my goals.

All depends on what you will be happy with. An 11 second street car, or 10?

RB's are a lot of fun especially if your end goal is around 500whp.

To get RBs up to 520rw requires a lot of timing. I'd say they are 500rw turbos that we happen to over clock to 520rw+ sometimes.

Yeah I'd love to test it if I weren't so busy with other things. The real issue there is I don't believe they are much of a restriction. I was hoping Dzenno would prove me wrong but he never got around to it. Click here to enlarge

It appears with all the upgrades we will be sacrificing low end torque and response when compared to the stock set up....is it possible to have both or is it allways going to be a compromise?

With bigger turbos, the low end torque/response is not the same. Sacrifice for a huge difference up top, but it's worth it.
